Translation

The book, “The Advantages of Sharia and the Disadvantages of Man-made Laws,” provides a comprehensive overview of the advantages of Islamic Sharia and its perfection in achieving goodness in various aspects of life, comparing that to what the author considers to be the negatives of man-made laws. Sheikh Attiya Salem focuses on the fact that benevolence includes all aspects of life, from verbal speech to daily transactions, through morals and judiciary, explaining how Islamic law calls for benevolence in everything, even in matters whose meaning people may ignore, such as slaughter and killing. The book also deals with the practical application of Sharia in judiciary and transactions, relying on jurisprudential principles and jurisprudential rules.
