Translation
This book, “A Memorandum on the Principles of Jurisprudence” by Al-Shanqeeti Muhammad Al-Amin, deals with various scientific topics in the field of the principles of jurisprudence, including the truth of the ruling and its parts, the conditions for assignment, what is recommended and what is disliked, and the need for rules and principles that regulate jurisprudential diligence. It aims to provide a methodology for understanding legal texts and applying them to new facts, while emphasizing the importance of deduction and correct understanding of religious texts. The book focuses on developing understandings of legal rulings and organizing their topics into specific sections and chapters, taking into account the historical development of the science of principles and its applications in Islamic jurisprudence.
