Translation

This book, “Ijmal al-Isaba fi Sayings of the Companions” by the scholar Salah al-Din al-Ala’i, deals with the subject of silent consensus and the status of the sayings of the Companions in Islamic jurisprudence. The author focuses on studying the individual sayings of the Companions and how to infer them, relying on subdivisions related to the extent of the spread of these sayings among the Companions and their reactions to them. The book aims to explain the ways of inferring the sayings of the Companions and to separate those that can be relied upon from those that are not, while providing an answer to the suspicions surrounding this topic.
