Hadith 310Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَقَ عَنْ ابْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ إِبْلِيسُ لِأَوْلِيَائِهِ مِنْ أَيِّ شَيْءٍ تَأْتُونَ بَنِي آدَمَ فَقَالُوا مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَالَ فَهَلْ تَأْتُونَهُمْ مِنْ قِبَلِ الِاسْتِغْفَارِ قَالُوا هَيْهَاتَ ذَاكَ شَيْءٌ قُرِنَ بِالتَّوْحِيدِ قَالَ لَأَبُثَّنَّ فِيهِمْ شَيْئًا لَا يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ اللَّهَ مِنْهُ قَالَ فَبَثَّ فِيهِمْ الْأَهْوَاءَ
Ibrahim bin Ishaq told us, on the authority of Ibn Al-Mubarak, on the authority of Al-Awza’i, who said: Satan said to his friends: “From what do you bring the children of Adam?” They said, “Of all things.” He said, “Do you come to them before seeking forgiveness?” They said, “No way.” That is something associated with monotheism. He said, “I will certainly spread something among them.” They ask God for forgiveness from him. He said, so he spread among them the desires.
Hadith 311Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَقَ عَنْ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ مَا أَدْرِي أَيُّ النِّعْمَتَيْنِ عَلَيَّ أَعْظَمُ أَنْ هَدَانِي لِلْإِسْلَامِ أَوْ عَافَانِي مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأَهْوَاءِ
Ibrahim bin Ishaq told us, on the authority of Al-Muharbi, on the authority of Al-A’mash, on the authority of Mujahid, who said, “I do not know which of the two blessings I have received is greater, that he guided me.” To Islam or protect me from these desires.
Hadith 312Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ الْأَعْوَرِ عَنْ حَبَّةَ بْنِ جُوَيْنٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا أَوْ قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ لَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا صَامَ الدَّهْرَ كُلَّهُ وَقَامَ الدَّهْرَ كُلَّهُ ثُمَّ قُتِلَ بَيْنَ الرُّكْنِ وَالْمَقَامِ لَحَشَرَهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَعَ مَنْ يُرَى أَنَّهُ كَانَ عَلَى هُدًى

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّلْتِ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ حَصِيرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي صَادِقٍ الْأَزْدِيِّ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ نَاجِذٍ قَالَ قَالَ عَلِيٌّ كُونُوا فِي النَّاسِ كَالنَّحْلَةِ فِي الطَّيْرِ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنْ الطَّيْرِ شَيْءٌ إِلَّا وَهُوَ يَسْتَضْعِفُهَا وَلَوْ يَعْلَمُ الطَّيْرُ مَا فِي أَجْوَافِهَا مِنْ الْبَرَكَةِ لَمْ يَفْعَلُوا ذَلِكَ بِهَا خَالِطُوا النَّاسَ بِأَلْسِنَتِكُمْ وَأَجْسَادِكُمْ وَزَايِلُوهُمْ بِأَعْمَالِكُمْ وَقُلُوبِكُمْ فَإِنَّ لِلْمَرْءِ مَا اكْتَسَبَ وَهُوَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ
Muhammad ibn al-Salt informed us: Mansour, who is Ibn Abi al-Aswad, informed us, on the authority of al-Harith ibn Hasira, on the authority of Abu Sadiq al-Azdi, on the authority of Rabi’ah Ibn Najid said: Ali said, “Be to people like a bee to birds. Indeed, there is no bird but it weakens it, even if the bird knew what is in it.” They did not do that to it with its hollows of blessing. Mix with the people with your tongues and bodies, and separate them with your deeds and hearts. A person will have what he has earned, and on the Day of Resurrection he will be with those he loves.
Hadith 315Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ شُجَاعٍ حَدَّثَنِي بَقِيَّةُ عَنْ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ نِعْمَ وَزِيرُ الْعِلْمِ الرَّأْيُ الْحَسَنُ

Hadith 316Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ قَالَ كَفَى بِالْمَرْءِ عِلْمًا أَنْ يَخْشَى اللَّهَ وَكَفَى بِالْمَرْءِ جَهْلًا أَنْ يُعْجَبَ بِعِلْمِهِ قَالَ و قَالَ مَسْرُوقٌ الْمَرْءُ حَقِيقٌ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ مَجَالِسُ يَخْلُو فِيهَا فَيَذْكُرُ ذُنُوبَهُ فَيَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى مِنْهَا

Hadith 320Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سُوقَةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَ عُبَيْدُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَثَلُ الْمُنَافِقِ مَثَلُ الشَّاةِ بَيْنَ الرَّبِيضَيْنِ أَوْ بَيْنَ الْغَنَمَيْنِ فَقَالَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ لَا إِنَّمَا قَالَ كَذَا وَكَذَا قَالَ وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ إِذَا سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمْ يَزِدْ فِيهِ وَلَمْ يُنْقِصْ مِنْهُ وَلَمْ يُجَاوِزْهُ وَلَمْ يُقَصِّرْ عَنْهُ

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ قَالَ كَانَ الشَّعْبِيُّ وَالنَّخَعِيُّ وَالْحَسَنُ يُحَدِّثُونَ بِالْحَدِيثِ مَرَّةً هَكَذَا وَمَرَّةً هَكَذَا فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ فَقَالَ أَمَا إِنَّهُمْ لَوْ حَدَّثُوا بِهِ كَمَا سَمِعُوهُ كَانَ خَيْرًا لَهُمْ
Abdullah bin Saeed told us, Ibn Ulayya told us, on the authority of Ibn Aoun, he said: Al-Sha’bi, Al-Nakha’i, and Al-Hasan used to narrate the hadith once. أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ قَالَ رَأَى مُجَاهِدٌ طَاوُسًا فِي الْمَنَامِ كَأَنَّهُ فِي الْكَعْبَةِ يُصَلِّي مُتَقَنِّعًا وَالنَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَى بَابِ الْكَعْبَةِ فَقَالَ لَهُ يَا عَبْدَ اللَّهِ اكْشِفْ قِنَاعَكَ وَأَظْهِرْ قِرَاءَتَكَ قَالَ فَكَأَنَّهُ عَبَّرَهُ عَلَى الْعِلْمِ فَانْبَسَطَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ
Bishr bin Al-Hakam told us, Sufyan told us, on the authority of Ibrahim bin Maysara, who said: A Mujahid saw a peacock in a dream as if he was in the Kaaba, praying. Hadith 328Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَخْبَرَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ مَا أَعْلَمُ عَمَلًا أَفْضَلَ مِنْ طَلَبِ الْعِلْمِ وَحِفْظِهِ لِمَنْ أَرَادَ اللَّهَ بِهِ قَالَ قَالَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ إِنَّ النَّاسَ لَيَحْتَاجُونَ إِلَى هَذَا الْعِلْمِ فِي دِينِهِمْ كَمَا يَحْتَاجُونَ إِلَى الطَّعَامِ وَالشَّرَابِ فِي دُنْيَاهُمْ
Yaqoub bin Ibrahim informed us, Waki` informed us, he said: Sufyan said: I do not know of a better deed than seeking knowledge and preserving it for whomever God wants. With it, he said, Al-Hasan bin Saleh said that people need this knowledge in their religion just as they need food and drink in their world.
Hadith 329Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ وَجَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو الدَّرْدَاءِ تَعَلَّمُوا قَبْلَ أَنْ يُقْبَضَ الْعِلْمُ فَإِنَّ قَبْضَ الْعِلْمِ قَبْضُ الْعُلَمَاءِ وَإِنَّ الْعَالِمَ وَالْمُتَعَلِّمَ فِي الْأَجْرِ سَوَاءٌ
Abu Nu`aym and Ja`far bin Aoun told us, saying: Mis`ar told us, on the authority of Amr bin Murrah, on the authority of Salim bin Abi al-Ja`d, he said: Abu Darda said: Learn before knowledge is acquired, for the acquisition of knowledge is the acquisition of scholars, and the scholar and the learner receive equal reward.
Hadith 330Sunan Ad-Darimi
أَخْبَرَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ عَنْ الضَّحَّاكِ وَلَكِنْ كُونُوا رَبَّانِيِّينَ بِمَا كُنْتُمْ تُعَلِّمُونَ الْكِتَابَ قَالَ حَقٌّ عَلَى كُلِّ مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ أَنْ يَكُونَ فَقِيهًا
