أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ قَالَ وَقْتُ النُّفَسَاءِ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا فَإِنْ طَهُرَتْ وَإِلَّا فَلَا تُجَاوِزْهُ حَتَّى تُصَلِّيَ
Ja'far bin Aoun informed us, Ismail bin Muslim informed us, on the authority of Al-Hasan, on the authority of Uthman bin Abi Al-Aas, he said: The time for postpartum is forty days. If she is pure, otherwise do not pass it until she prays.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَشْعَثَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ إِنْ كَانَ لِلنُّفَسَاءِ عَادَةٌ وَإِلَّا جَلَسَتْ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً
Muhammad ibn Yusuf informed us: Sufyan informed us, on the authority of Ash’ath, on the authority of Ata’, who said: If the postpartum period has a habit, otherwise it stays for forty nights.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ النِّفَاسُ حَيْضٌ
Muhammad ibn Yusuf informed us, Sufyan informed us, on the authority of Ibn Jurayj, on the authority of Ata’, who said post-partum bleeding is menstruation.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ أَبِي سَهْلٍ الْبَصْرِيِّ عَنْ مُسَّةَ عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَتْ النُّفَسَاءُ تَجْلِسُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا أَوْ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً وَكَانَتْ إِحْدَانَا تَطْلِي الْوَرْسَ عَلَى وَجْهِهَا مِنْ الْكَلَفِ
Abu Al-Walid told us, Abu Khaythamah told us, Ali bin Abdul-Ala told us, on the authority of Abu Sahl Al-Basri, on the authority of Masah, on the authority of Umm Salamah. أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ جَلْدٍ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً لِعَائِذِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو نُفِسَتْ فَجَاءَتْ بَعْدَمَا مَضَتْ عِشْرُونَ لَيْلَةً فَدَخَلَتْ فِي لِحَافِهِ فَقَالَ مَنْ هَذِهِ قَالَتْ أَنَا فُلَانَةُ إِنِّي قَدْ تَطَهَّرْتُ فَرَكَضَهَا بِرِجْلِهِ فَقَالَ لَا تُغَرِّنِي عَنْ دِينِي حَتَّى تَمْضِيَ أَرْبَعُونَ لَيْلَةً
Sa`id bin Amir told us on the authority of Hisham, on the authority of Jalda, on the authority of Muawiyah bin Qurrah, that a woman of Aidh bin Amr had a bad breath and came after she had passed away. Twenty nights, so she entered into his quilt, and he said, “Who is this?” She said, “I am so-and-so. I have purified myself.” He ran over her with his foot and said, “Do not deviate from my religion.” Until forty nights pass
أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مَاهَكَ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ النُّفَسَاءُ تَنْتَظِرُ نَحْوًا مِنْ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا

أَخْبَرَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ الْحَسَنَ قَالَ فِي النُّفَسَاءِ الَّتِي تَرَى الدَّمَ تَرَبَّصُ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً ثُمَّ تُصَلِّي وَقَالَ الشَّعْبِيُّ شَهْرَيْنِ ثُمَّ هِيَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْمُسْتَحَاضَةِ
Musa bin Khalid told us, Mu`tamar told us on the authority of his father, that Al-Hasan said about the postpartum woman who sees blood, wait for forty nights and then pray, and he said Al-Shaabi for two months, then she is in the same position as a woman suffering from istihaadah.
أَخْبَرَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَفْطَسُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْعَلَاءَ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ مَكْحُولٍ قَالَ الْمَرْأَةُ تَنْتَظِرُ مِنْ الْغُلَامِ ثَلَاثِينَ يَوْمًا وَمِنْ الْجَارِيَةِ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا يَعْنِي النُّفَسَاءَ قَالَ مَرْوَانُ هُوَ قَوْلُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ و قَالَ الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ هُمَا سَوَاءٌ
Marwan bin Muhammad told us, Muhammad bin Shuaib told us, Ibrahim bin Sulaiman Al-Aftas told us, he said: I heard Al-Ala’ bin Al-Harith on the authority of An alcoholic person said: “A woman must wait for thirty days for a boy and forty days for a slave girl.” He means postpartum. Marwan said. This is the saying of Sa’id ibn Abdul Aziz and Al-Awza’i said they are the same.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ تُجْنِبُ ثُمَّ تَحِيضُ قَالَ تَغْتَسِلُ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ هِشَامٍ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ مِثْلَهُ
Muhammad ibn Yusuf informed us, Sufyan informed us, on the authority of Mughirah, on the authority of Abraham, regarding a woman avoiding abstinence and then menstruating. أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فِي رَجُلٍ غَشِيَ امْرَأَتَهُ فَحَاضَتْ فَقَالَ تَغْتَسِلُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ
Sa`id bin Amir told us on the authority of Shu`bah, on the authority of Mughirah, on the authority of Ibrahim, about a man who had intercourse with his wife and she had her menstruation, so he said, “You will bathe more beloved to me.”
أَخْبَرَنَا حَجَّاجٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ حَجَّاجٍ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ وَالنَّخَعِيِّ قَالَا لِتَغْتَسِلْ مِنْ الْجَنَابَةِ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ عَامِرٍ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنْ الْحَسَنِ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ
Hajjaj told us: Hammad told us, on the authority of Hajjaj, on the authority of Ata’ and al-Nakha’i, who said: To wash yourself from ritual impurity. Hajjaj told us, on the authority of Hammad, on the authority of Amer: The one who turns away from the good is like that.
أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَ سُئِلَ عَنْهَا حَمَّادٌ فَقَالَ قَالَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ تَغْتَسِلُ
Al-Mu'alla bin Asad told us, Abdul-Wahid bin Ziyad told us, Al-Ala' bin Al-Musayyab told us, he said: Hammad was asked about it, and he said, Ibrahim said. She takes a bath
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ ابْنِ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ تَغْتَسِلُ
Ibrahim bin Musa told us, on the authority of Ibn Fudayl, on the authority of Muhammad bin Salem, on the authority of Al-Sha’abi, who said: You take a bath.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْحَكَمَ بْنَ عُتَيْبَةَ يَقُولُ كَانَ يُعْجِبُهُمْ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ الْحَائِضِ أَنْ تَوَضَّأَ وُضُوءَهَا لِلصَّلَاةِ ثُمَّ تُسَبِّحَ اللَّهَ وَتُكَبِّرَهُ فِي وَقْتِ الصَّلَاةِ
Muhammad ibn Yusuf informed us, Yahya ibn Ayyub informed us, he said: I heard al-Hakam ibn Utaiba saying: They liked the menstruating woman to She performs ablution for prayer, then glorifies God and glorifies Him at the time of prayer.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي قِلَابَةَ الْحَائِضُ تَتَوَضَّأُ عِنْدَ وَقْتِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ وَتَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ فَقَالَ مَا وَجَدْتُ لِهَذَا أَصْلًا
Muhammad ibn Yusuf informed us, Sufyan informed us, on the authority of Sulaiman al-Taymi, he said: I told Abu Qalabah that a menstruating woman should perform ablution at the time of every prayer and remember God said, “I have not found a basis for this.”
أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي خَالِدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الصَّدَفِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَأْمُرُ الْمَرْأَةَ الْحَائِضَ عِنْدَ أَوَانِ الصَّلَاةِ أَنْ تَوَضَّأَ وَتَجْلِسَ بِفِنَاءِ مَسْجِدِهَا فَتَذْكُرَ اللَّهَ وَتُسَبِّحَ
Abdullah bin Yazid told us, Sa`id bin Abi Ayyub told us, he said: Khaled bin Yazid al-Sadafi told me, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Uqba bin Amir. Al-Juhani said that he used to order the menstruating woman at the time of prayer to perform ablution and sit in the courtyard of her mosque and remember God and glorify God.
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ فِي الْمَرْأَةِ الْحَائِضِ أَتَقْرَأُ قَالَ لَا إِلَّا طَرَفَ الْآيَةِ وَلَكِنْ تَوَضَّأُ عِنْدَ وَقْتِ كُلِّ صَلَاةٍ ثُمَّ تَسْتَقْبِلُ الْقِبْلَةَ وَتُسَبِّحُ وَتُكَبِّرُ وَتَدْعُو اللَّهَ
Ali told us, Abd al-Malik told us about Ata’ about a menstruating woman reciting. He said, “No, except the end of the verse, but perform ablution at the time of each.” A prayer, then she faces the Qiblah, glorifies and exalts God, and supplicates to God.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا ضَمْرَةُ حَدَّثَنَا السَّيْبَانِيُّ وَهُوَ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو مِنْ أَهْلِ الرَّمْلَةِ حَدَّثَنَا مَكْحُولٌ قَالَ تُؤْمَرُ الْحَائِضُ تَتَوَضَّأُ عِنْدَ مَوَاقِيتِ الصَّلَاةِ وَتَسْتَقْبِلُ الْقِبْلَةَ وَتَذْكُرُ اللَّهَ
Muhammad bin Yazid told us, Damra told us, Al-Sibani told us, and he is Yahya bin Abi Amr from the people of Ramla, Makhoul told us, he said The menstruating woman is commanded to perform ablution at the times of prayer and to face the Qiblah and remember God.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ إِذَا سَمِعَ الْحَائِضُ وَالْجُنُبُ السَّجْدَةَ يَغْتَسِلُ الْجُنُبُ وَيَسْجُدُ وَلَا تَقْضِي الْحَائِضُ لِأَنَّهَا لَا تُصَلِّي
Muhammad ibn Yusuf informed us, Sufyan informed us, on the authority of Hammad, on the authority of Ibrahim, who said, “When the menstruating woman and the one in a state of ritual impurity hear the prostration, the one who is in ritual a state of ritual impurity should bathe.” He prostrates, but the menstruating woman does not make up for it because she does not pray.
