141 - باب بيان أنَّ السنة إِذَا قيل للمستأذن: من أنت؟ أن يقول: فلان، فيسمي نفسه بما يعرف به من اسم أَوْ كنية وكراهة قوله: «أنا» ونحوها 874 - وعن أنس - رضي الله عنه - في حديثه المشهور في الإسراءِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم: «ثُمَّ صَعَدَ بي جِبْريلُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا فَاسْتَفْتَحَ، فقِيلَ: مَنْ هذَا؟ قَالَ: جِبْريلُ، قِيلَ: وَمَنْ مَعَكَ؟ قَالَ: مُحَمَّدٌ، ثُمَّ صَعَدَ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الثَّانِيَةِ فاسْتَفْتَحَ، قِيلَ: مَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالَ: جِبْريل، قِيلَ: وَمَنْ مَعَكَ؟ قَالَ: مُحَمَّدٌ وَالثَّالِثَةِ وَالرَّابِعَةِ وَسَائِرِهنَّ وَيُقَالُ فِي بَابِ كُلِّ سَمَاءٍ: مَنْ هَذَا؟ فَيَقُولُ: جِبْريلُ». متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ. 875 - وعن أَبي ذرٍّ - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: خَرَجْتُ لَيْلَةً مِنَ اللَّيَالِي، فَإذَا رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - يَمْشِي وَحْدَهُ، فَجَعَلْتُ أمْشِي فِي ظلِّ القمَرِ، فَالْتَفَتَ فَرَآنِي، فَقَالَ: «مَنْ هَذَا؟» فقلتُ: أَبُو ذَرٍّ. متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ. 876 - وعن أُمِّ هانىءٍ رضي الله عنها، قالت: أتيتُ النَّبيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - وَهُوَ يَغْتَسِلُ وَفَاطِمَةُ تَسْتُرُهُ، فَقَالَ: «مَنْ هذِهِ؟» فقلتُ: أنا أُمُّ هَانِىءٍ. متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ. 877 - وعن جابر - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: أتَيْتُ النبيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - فَدَقَقْتُ البَابَ، فَقَالَ: «مَنْ هَذَا؟» فَقُلتُ: أَنَا، فَقَالَ: «أنَا، أنَا!» كَأنَّهُ كَرِهَهَا . متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ.

141 - Chapter on explaining that the Sunnah is that if the one asking for permission is asked: Who are you? To say: So-and-so, and call himself by the name or nickname by which he is known, and it is disliked to say: “I” and the like. 874 - On the authority of Anas - may God be pleased with him - in his famous hadith regarding the Night Journey, he said: The Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - said: “Then Gabriel ascended with me to the lowest heaven and opened, It was said: Who is this? He said: Gabriel. It was said: Who is with you? He said: Muhammad, then he ascended to the second heaven and asked for the prayer to be opened. It was said: Who is this? He said: Gabriel. It was said: Who is with you? He said: Muhammad, the third, the fourth, and all of them. It is said in the chapter on every sky: Who is this? He says: Gabriel. agreed. 875 - On the authority of Abu Dharr - may God be pleased with him - he said: I went out one night and saw the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - walking alone, so I started walking in the shadow of the moon, and he turned around and saw me, and said: “Who is this?” I said: Abu Dharr. agreed. 876 - On the authority of Umm Hani’, may God be pleased with her, she said: I came to the Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - while he was bathing and Fatima was covering him, and he said: “Who is this?” I said: I am Umm Hani. agreed. 877 - On the authority of Jabir - may God be pleased with him - he said: I came to the Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - and I knocked on the door, and he said: “Who is this?” So I said: I, and he said: “I, I!” As if he hated her. agreed.

142 - باب استحباب تشميت العاطس إِذَا حمد الله تَعَالَى وكراهة تشميته إذا لَمْ يحمد الله تَعَالَى وبيان آداب التشميت والعطاس والتثاؤب 878 - عن أَبي هريرة - رضي الله عنه: أنَّ النبيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - قَالَ: «إنَّ الله يُحِبُّ العُطَاسَ، وَيَكْرَهُ التَّثَاؤُبَ، فَإذَا عَطَسَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَحَمِدَ الله تَعَالَى كَانَ حَقًّا عَلَى كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ سَمِعَهُ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهُ: يَرْحَمُكَ اللهُ، وَأَمَّا التَّثَاؤُبُ فَإنَّمَا هُوَ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ، فَإذَا تَثَاءبَ أحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَرُدَّهُ مَا اسْتَطَاعَ، فَإنَّ أحَدَكُمْ إِذَا تَثَاءبَ ضَحِكَ مِنْهُ الشَّيْطَانُ». رواه البخاري. 879 - وعنه، عن النبيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - قَالَ: «إِذَا عَطَسَ أحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَقُلْ: الحَمْدُ للهِ، وَلْيَقُلْ لَهُ أخُوهُ أَوْ صَاحِبُهُ: يَرْحَمُكَ الله. فإذَا قَالَ لَهُ: يَرْحَمُكَ اللهُ، فَليَقُلْ: يَهْدِيكُمُ اللهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ». رواه البخاري. 880 - وعن أَبي موسى - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - يقولُ: «إِذَا عَطَسَ أحَدُكُمْ فَحَمِدَ اللهَ فَشَمِّتُوهُ ، فَإنْ لَمْ يَحْمَدِ الله فَلاَ تُشَمِّتُوهُ». رواه مسلم. 881 - وعن أنس - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: عَطَسَ رَجُلانِ عِنْدَ النبيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - فَشَمَّتَ أَحَدَهُمَا وَلَمْ يُشَمِّتِ الآخَرَ، فَقَالَ الَّذِي لَمْ يُشَمِّتْهُ: عَطَسَ فُلانٌ فَشَمَّتَّهُ، وَعَطَسْتُ فَلَمْ تُشَمِّتْنِي؟ فَقَالَ: «هَذَا حَمِدَ الله، وَإنَّكَ لَمْ تَحْمَدِ الله». متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ. 882 - وعن أَبي هريرة - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: كَانَ رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - إِذَا عَطَسَ وَضَعَ يَدَهُ أَوْ ثَوْبَهُ عَلَى فِيهِ، وَخَفَضَ - أَوْ غَضَّ - بِهَا صَوْتَهُ. شك الراوي. رواه أَبُو داود والترمذي، وقال: «حديث حسن صحيح». 883 - وعن أَبي موسى - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: كَانَ اليَهُودُ يَتَعَاطَسُونَ عِنْدَ رسول اللهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - يَرْجُونَ أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهُمْ: يَرْحَمُكُم الله، فَيَقُولُ: «يَهْدِيكُم اللهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ». رواه أَبُو داود والترمذي، وقال: «حديث حسن صحيح». 884 - وعن أَبي سعيد الخدري - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم: «إِذَا تَثَاءبَ أحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُمْسِكْ بِيَدِهِ عَلَى فِيهِ؛ فَإنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَدْخُلُ». رواه مسلم.

142 - Chapter on the desirability of praising God Almighty when one sneezes, and the dislike of praising God Almighty if he does not praise God Almighty, and an explanation of the etiquette of sneezing, sneezing, and yawning 878 - On the authority of Abu Hurairah - may God be pleased with him: That the Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - said: “God loves sneezing. It is disliked to yawn, so if one of you sneezes and praises God Almighty, it is the duty of every Muslim who hears him to say to him: May God have mercy on you. As for yawning It is from Satan, so if one of you yawns, let him stop it as much as possible, for if one of you yawns, Satan laughs at him.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari. 879 - On his authority, on the authority of the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - he said: “If one of you sneezes, let him say: Praise be to God, and let his brother or friend say to him: May God have mercy on you. So if he says to him: May God have mercy on you, let him say: May God guide you and reconcile your mind. Narrated by Al-Bukhari. 880 - On the authority of Abu Musa - may God be pleased with him - he said: I heard the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - saying: “When one of you sneezes, he praises God, then smell him, but if he does not thank God, then do not smell him.” Narrated by Muslim. 881 - On the authority of Anas - may God be pleased with him - he said: Two men sneezed in the presence of the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - and one of them sneezed and the other did not sneeze, so the one who did not sneeze at him said: So-and-so sneezed and I smelt him. I sneezed and you didn't smell me? He said: “This thanked God, but you did not thank God.” agreed. 882 - On the authority of Abu Hurairah - may God be pleased with him - he said: Whenever the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - sneezed, he would put his hand or his garment over his mouth, and lower - or lower - his voice with it. The narrator doubted. Narrated by Abu Dawud and Al-Tirmidhi, and he said: “A good and authentic hadith.” 883 - On the authority of Abu Musa - may God be pleased with him - he said: The Jews used to sneeze with the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - hoping that he would say to them: May God have mercy on you, and he would say: “May God guide you and make things right.” Mind you. Narrated by Abu Dawud and Al-Tirmidhi, and he said: “A good and authentic hadith.” 884 - On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri - may God be pleased with him - he said: The Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - said: “When one of you yawns, let him hold his hand over his mouth; Satan enters.” Narrated by Muslim.

143 - باب استحباب المصافحة عِنْدَ اللقاء وبشاشة الوجه وتقبيل يد الرجل الصالح وتقبيل ولده شفقة ومعانقة القادم من سفر وكراهية الانحناء 885 - عن أَبي الخطاب قتادة، قَالَ: قُلْتُ لأَنَسٍ: أكَانَتِ المُصَافَحَةُ في أصْحَابِ رسولِ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم؟ قَالَ: نَعَمْ. رواه البخاري. 886 - وعن أنس - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: لَمَّا جَاءَ أهْلُ اليَمَنِ، قَالَ رسولُ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم: «قَدْ جَاءكُمْ أهْلُ اليَمَنِ» وَهُمْ أوَّلُ مَنْ جَاءَ بِالمُصَافَحَةِ . رواه أَبُو داود بإسناد صحيح. 887 - وعن البراءِ - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رسولُ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم: «مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمَينِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ فَيَتَصَافَحَانِ إِلاَّ غُفِرَ لَهُمَا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَفْتَرِقَا». رواه أَبُو داود. 888 - وعن أنس - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رسولَ اللهِ، الرَّجُلُ مِنَّا يَلْقَى أخَاهُ، أَوْ صَدِيقَهُ، أينحَنِي لَهُ؟ قَالَ: «لاَ». قَالَ: أفَيَلْتَزِمُهُ وَيُقَبِّلُهُ؟ قَالَ: «لاَ» قَالَ: فَيَأخُذُ بِيَدِهِ وَيُصَافِحُهُ؟ قَالَ: «نَعَمْ». رواه الترمذي، وقال: «حديث حسن». 889 - وعن صَفْوَانَ بن عَسَّالٍ - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ يَهُودِيٌّ لِصَاحِبِهِ: اذْهَبْ بِنَا إِلَى هَذَا النَّبيِّ، فَأتَيَا رسولَ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - فَسَألاهُ عَنْ تِسْعِ آياتٍ بَيِّنَاتٍ ... فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيث إِلَى قَوْلهِ: فقَبَّلا يَدَهُ وَرِجْلَهُ، وقالا: نَشْهَدُ أنَّكَ نَبِيٌّ. رواه الترمذي وغيره بأسانيد صحيحةٍ. 890 - وعن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما قِصَّة، قَالَ فِيهَا: فَدَنَوْنَا مِنَ النَّبيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - فَقَبَّلْنَا يَدَه. رواه أَبُو داود. 891 - وعن عائشة رضي الله عنها، قالت: قَدِمَ زَيْدُ بْنُ حَارِثَةَ المَدِينَةَ وَرسولُ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - في بَيتِي، فَأتَاهُ فَقَرَعَ البَابَ، فَقَامَ إِلَيْهِ النبيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - يَجُرُّ ثَوْبَهُ، فَاعْتَنَقَهُ وَقَبَّلَهُ. رواه الترمذي، وقال: «حديث حسن». 892 - وعن أَبي ذَرٍّ - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ لي رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم: «لا تَحقِرَنَّ منَ الْمَعرُوف شَيْئًا، وَلَوْ أَنْ تَلْقَى أخَاكَ بِوَجْهٍ طَلْقٍ ». رواه مسلم. 893 - وعن أَبي هريرة - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: قَبَّلَ النبيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - الحَسَنَ بنَ عَلِيٍّ رضي الله عنهما، فَقَالَ الأقْرَعُ بن حَابِسٍ: إنَّ لِي عَشْرَةً مِنَ الْوَلَدِ مَا قَبَّلْتُ مِنْهُمْ أحَدًا. فَقَالَ رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم: «مَنْ لاَ يَرْحَمْ لاَ يُرْحَمْ!». متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ.

143 - Chapter on the desirability of shaking hands when meeting, with a cheerful face, kissing the hand of a righteous man, kissing his child out of compassion, hugging one coming from a journey, and dislike of bowing 885 - On the authority of Abu Al-Khattab Qatada, he said: I said to Anas: Was the handshake common among the Companions of the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace? He said: Yes. Narrated by Al-Bukhari. 886 - On the authority of Anas - may God be pleased with him - he said: When the people of Yemen came, the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The people of Yemen have come to you,” and they were the first to come by shaking hands. Narrated by Abu Dawud with an authentic chain of transmission. 887 - On the authority of Al-Baraa - may God be pleased with him - he said: The Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - said: “There are no two Muslims who meet and shake hands without being forgiven before they separate.” Narrated by Abu Dawud. 888 - On the authority of Anas - may God be pleased with him - he said: A man said: O Messenger of God, a man among us meets his brother or friend, should he bow to him? He said: “No.” He said: Should he adhere to it and kiss it? He said: “No.” He said: So he takes his hand and shakes it? He said: “Yes.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, who said: “A good hadith.” 889 - On the authority of Safwan bin Assal - may God be pleased with him - he said: A Jew said to his friend: Take us to this Prophet. So they came to the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - and asked him about nine things. Clear verses... So he mentioned the hadith up to his saying: So they kissed his hand and his foot, and said: We bear witness that you are a prophet. Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and others with authentic chains of narration. 890 - And on the authority of Ibn Omar, may God be pleased with them both, a story in which he said: So we approached the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - and we kissed his hand. Narrated by Abu Dawud. 891 - On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said: Zaid bin Harithah came to Medina while the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - was in my house. He came to him and knocked on the door, and the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - came to him, dragging his garment. So he embraced him and kissed him. Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, who said: “A good hadith.” 892 - On the authority of Abu Dharr - may God be pleased with him - he said: The Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - said to me: “Do not despise anything that is good, even if it is to meet your brother with a cheerful face.” Narrated by Muslim. 893 - On the authority of Abu Hurairah - may God be pleased with him - he said: The Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - kissed Al-Hasan bin Ali, may God be pleased with them both, and Al-Aqra’ bin Habis said: I have ten children and I have not kissed any of them. Then the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - said: “He who does not have mercy will not be shown mercy!” agreed.

(6) - كتاب عيَادة المريض وَتشييع المَيّت والصّلاة عليه وَحضور دَفنهِ وَالمكث عِنْدَ قبرهِ بَعدَ دَفنه 144 - باب عيادة المريض 894 - عن البَرَاءِ بن عازِبٍ رضي الله عنهما، قَالَ: أمَرَنَا رسولُ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - بعِيَادَةِ الْمَريضِ، وَاتِّبَاعِ الجَنَازَةِ، وَتَشْمِيتِ العَاطِسِ، وَإبْرَارِ الْمُقْسِمِ، وَنَصْرِ المَظْلُومِ، وَإجَابَةِ الدَّاعِي، وَإفْشَاءِ السَّلاَمِ. متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ. 895 - وعن أَبي هريرة - رضي الله عنه: أنَّ رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - قَالَ: «حَقُّ المُسْلِمِ عَلَى المُسْلِمِ خَمْسٌ: رَدُّ السَّلاَمِ، وَعِيَادَةُ المَرِيضِ، وَاتِّبَاعُ الجَنَائِزِ، وَإجَابَةُ الدَّعْوَةِ، وَتَشْمِيتُ العَاطِسِ». متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ. 896 - وعنه، قَالَ: قَالَ رسولُ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم: «إنَّ اللهَ - عز وجل - يَقُولُ يَومَ القِيَامَةِ: يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ، مَرِضْتُ فَلَمْ تَعُدنِي! قَالَ: يَا رَبِّ، كَيْفَ أعُودُكَ وَأَنْتَ رَبُّ العَالَمِينَ؟! قَالَ: أمَا عَلِمْتَ أنَّ عَبْدِي فُلاَنًا مَرِضَ فَلَمْ تَعُدْهُ! أمَا عَلِمْتَ أنَّكَ لَوْ عُدْتَهُ لَوَجَدْتَني عِنْدَهُ! يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ، اسْتَطْعَمْتُكَ فَلَمْ تُطْعِمنِي! قَالَ: يَا رَبِّ، كَيْفَ أطْعِمُكَ وَأنْتَ رَبُّ العَالَمِينَ؟! قَالَ: أمَا عَلِمْتَ أنَّهُ اسْتَطْعَمَكَ عَبْدِي فُلانٌ فَلَمْ تُطْعِمْهُ! أمَا عَلِمْتَ أنَّكَ لَوْ أطْعَمْتَهُ لَوَجَدْتَ ذَلِكَ عِنْدِي! يَا ابْنَ آدَمَ، اسْتَسْقَيْتُكَ فَلَمْ تَسْقِنِي! قَالَ: يَا رَبِّ، كَيْفَ أسْقِيكَ وَأنْتَ رَبُّ العَالَمينَ؟! قَالَ: اسْتَسْقَاكَ عَبْدِي فُلاَنٌ فَلَمْ تَسْقِهِ! أمَا عَلِمْتَ أنَّكَ لَوْ سَقَيْتَهُ لَوَجَدْتَ ذَلِكَ عِنْدِي!». رواه مسلم. 897 - وعن أَبي موسى - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رسولُ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم: «عُودُوا المَريضَ، وَأطْعِمُوا الجَائِعَ، وَفُكُّوا العَانِي». رواه البخاري. «العاَنِي»: الأسيرُ. 898 - وعن ثوبان - رضي الله عنه - عن النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - قَالَ: «إنَّ المُسْلِمَ إِذَا عَادَ أخَاهُ المُسْلِمَ، لَمْ يَزَلْ في خُرْفَةِ الْجَنَّةِ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ» قِيلَ: يَا رَسولَ الله، وَمَا خُرْفَةُ الجَنَّةِ؟ قَالَ: «جَنَاهَا». رواه مسلم. 899 - وعن عليّ - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رسولَ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - يَقُولُ: «مَا مِنْ مُسْلِم يَعُودُ مُسْلِمًا غُدْوةً إِلاَّ صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ سَبْعُونَ ألْفَ مَلَكٍ حَتَّى يُمْسِيَ، وَإنْ عَادَهُ عَشِيَّةً إِلاَّ صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ مَلَكٍ حَتَّى يُصْبحَ، وَكَانَ لَهُ خَرِيفٌ في الْجَنَّةِ». رواه الترمذي ، وقال: «حديث حسن». «الخَريفُ»: الثَّمرُ الْمَخْرُوفُ، أيْ: الْمُجْتَنَى. 900 - وعن أنسٍ - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: كَانَ غُلاَمٌ يَهُودِيٌّ يَخْدُمُ النَّبيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - فَمَرِضَ، فَأتَاهُ النَّبيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - يَعُودُهُ، فَقَعَدَ عِنْدَ رَأسِهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: «أسْلِمْ» فَنَظَرَ إِلَى أبِيهِ وَهُوَ عِنْدَهُ؟ فَقَالَ: أَطِعْ أَبَا القَاسِمِ، فَأسْلَمَ، فَخَرَجَ النَّبيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: «الحَمْدُ للهِ الَّذِي أنْقَذَهُ منَ النَّارِ». رواه البخاري.

And I gloated at the sneezer.” agreed. 896 - On his authority, he said: The Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - said: “God - the Almighty - will say on the Day of Resurrection: O son of Adam, I fell ill and you did not visit me! He said: O Lord, how can I return to You when You are the Lord of the worlds?! He said: Did you not know that such-and-such servant of Mine fell ill and you did not visit him? Did you not know that if you had visited him, you would have found me with him? O son of Adam, I asked you for food but you did not feed Me! 145 - باب مَا يُدعى به للمريض 901 - عن عائشة رضي الله عنها: أنَّ النَّبيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - كَانَ إِذَا اشْتَكى الإنْسَانُ الشَّيْءَ مِنْهُ، أَوْ كَانَتْ بِهِ قَرْحَةٌ أَوْ جُرْحٌ، قَالَ النَّبيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - بِأُصْبُعِهِ هكَذا - وَوَضَعَ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَة الرَّاوي سَبَّابَتَهُ بِالأَرْضِ ثُمَّ رَفَعَها - وقال: «بِسمِ اللهِ، تُرْبَةُ أرْضِنَا، بِرِيقَةِ بَعْضِنَا، يُشْفَى بِهِ سَقِيمُنَا، بإذْنِ رَبِّنَا ». متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ. 902 - وعنها: أنَّ النَّبيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - كَانَ يَعُودُ بَعْضَ أهْلِهِ يَمْسَحُ بِيدِهِ اليُمْنَى، ويقولُ: «اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، أَذْهِب البَأْسَ، اشْفِ أنْتَ الشَّافِي، لاَ شِفَاءَ إِلاَّ شِفاؤكَ، شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقمًا». متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ. 903 - وعن أنسٍ - رضي الله عنه - أنه قَالَ لِثابِتٍ رحمه اللهُ: ألاَ أرْقِيكَ بِرُقْيَةِ رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم؟ قَالَ: بَلَى، قَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ، مُذْهِبَ البَأسِ، اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي، لاَ شَافِيَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، شِفَاءً لاَ يُغَادِرُ سَقمًا». رواه البخاري. 904 - وعن سعدِ بن أَبي وقاصٍ - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: عَادَنِي رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - فَقَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِ سَعْدًا، اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِ سَعْدًا، اللَّهُمَّ اشْفِ سَعْدًا». رواه مسلم. 905 - وعن أَبي عبدِ الله عثمان بنِ أَبي العاصِ - رضي الله عنه: أنّه شَكَا إِلَى رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - وَجَعًا، يَجِدُهُ في جَسَدِهِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم: «ضَعْ يَدَكَ عَلَى الَّذِي يَألَم مِنْ جَسَدِكَ وَقُلْ: بسم اللهِ ثَلاثًا، وَقُلْ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ: أعُوذُ بِعِزَّةِ الله وَقُدْرَتِهِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أجِدُ وَأُحَاذِرُ». رواه مسلم. 906 - وعن ابن عباسٍ رضي الله عنهما، عن النبيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - قَالَ: «مَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا لَمْ يَحْضُرْهُ أجَلُهُ، فقالَ عِنْدَهُ سَبْعَ مَرَّاتٍ: أسْأَلُ اللهَ العَظيمَ، رَبَّ العَرْشِ العَظيمِ، أَنْ يَشْفِيَكَ، إِلاَّ عَافَاهُ اللهُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ المَرَضِ». رواه أَبُو داود والترمذي، وقال: «حديث حسن»، وقال الحاكم: «حديث صحيح عَلَى شرط البخاري». 907 - وعنه: أنَّ النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - دَخَلَ عَلَى أعْرَابِيٍّ يَعُودُهُ، وَكَانَ إِذَا دَخَلَ عَلَى مَنْ يَعُودُهُ، قَالَ: «لاَ بَأسَ؛ طَهُورٌ إنْ شَاءَ اللهُ». رواه البخاري. 908 - وعن أَبي سعيد الخدري - رضي الله عنه: أن جِبريلَ أتَى النَّبيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - فَقَالَ: يَا مُحَمَّدُ، اشْتَكَيْتَ؟ قَالَ: «نَعَمْ» قَالَ: بِسْمِ الله أرْقِيكَ، مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ، مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ أَوْ عَيْنِ حَاسِدٍ، اللهُ يَشْفِيكَ، بِسمِ اللهِ أُرقِيكَ. رواه مسلم. 909 - وعن أَبي سعيد الخدري وأبي هريرة رضي الله عنهما: أنَّهُمَا شَهِدَا عَلَى رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - أنّه قَالَ: «مَنْ قَالَ: لاَ إلهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَاللهُ أكْبَرُ، صَدَّقَهُ رَبُّهُ، فَقَالَ: لاَ إلهَ إِلاَّ أنَا وأنَا أكْبَرُ. وَإِذَا قَالَ: لاَ إلهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَحدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ، قَالَ: يقول: لاَ إلهَ إلاَّ أنَا وَحْدِي لا شَريكَ لِي. وَإِذَا قَالَ: لاَ إلهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ لَهُ المُلْكُ وَلَهُ الحَمْدُ، قَالَ: لاَ إلهَ إِلاَّ أنَا لِيَ المُلْكُ وَلِيَ الحَمْدُ. وَإِذَا قَالَ: لاَ إله إِلاَّ اللهُ وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ باللهِ، قَالَ: لاَ إلهَ إِلاَّ أنَا وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بي» وَكَانَ يقُولُ: «مَنْ قَالَهَا في مَرَضِهِ ثُمَّ مَاتَ لَمْ تَطْعَمْهُ النَّارُ». رواه الترمذي، وقال: «حديث حسن».

Narrated by Muslim. 906 - On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, on the authority of the Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - he said: “Whoever visits a sick person and does not attend his death, he says to him seven times: I ask God Almighty, Lord of the Great Throne, to May God heal you from this disease.” It was narrated by Abu Dawud and Al-Tirmidhi, and he said: “A good hadith,” and Al-Hakim said: “A true hadith according to the conditions of Al-Bukhari.” 907 - And on his authority: The Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - visited a Bedouin who was his acquaintance, and whenever he visited someone he was accustomed to, he would say: “There is no problem; It will be pure, God willing.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari. 908 - On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri - may God be pleased with him: Gabriel came to the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - and said: O Muhammad, have you complained? He said: “Yes.” He said: In the name of God, I perform ruqyah for you, from everything that harms you, from the evil of every soul or the envious eye. May God heal you. In the name of God, I perform ruqyah for you. Narrated by Muslim. 909 - On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri and Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with them: They bore witness to the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - that he said: “Whoever says: There is no god but God and God is great, his Lord has confirmed him, and he said: There is no god but I am growing up. And when he says: There is no god but God alone, with no partner, he says: He says: There is no god but Me alone, with no partner with me. And when he said: There is no god but Allah, to Him belongs the dominion and to Him is praise. And when he said: There is no god but God and there is no power but from God, he said: There is no god but Me and there is no power but from Me. 146 - باب استحباب سؤال أهل المريض عن حاله 910 - عن ابن عباسٍ رضي الله عنهما: أنَّ عليَّ بْنَ أَبي طالب - رضي الله عنه - خَرَجَ مِنْ عِنْدِ رسولِ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - في وَجَعِهِ الَّذِي تُوُفِّيَ فِيهِ، فقالَ النَّاسُ: يَا أَبَا الحَسَنِ، كَيْفَ أصْبَحَ رَسُولُ اللهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم؟ قَالَ: أصْبَحَ بِحَمْدِ اللهِ بَارئًا. رواه البخاري.

146 - Chapter on the desirability of asking the sick person’s family about his condition 910 - On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both: That Ali bin Abi Talib - may God be pleased with him - left the presence of the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - in the pain in which he died, and the people said: O Abu Al-Hasan, How did the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - become? 147 - باب مَا يقوله مَن أيس من حياته 911 - عن عائشة رضي الله عنها، قالت: سَمِعْتُ النبيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - وَهُوَ مُسْتَنِدٌ إلَيَّ، يَقُولُ: «اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وارْحَمْنِي، وأَلْحِقْنِي بالرَّفِيقِ الأَعْلَى». متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ. 912 - وعنها، قالت: رَأيتُ رسولَ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - وَهُوَ بِالْمَوْتِ، عِنْدَهُ قَدَحٌ فِيهِ مَاءٌ، وَهُوَ يُدْخِلُ يَدَهُ في القَدَحِ، ثُمَّ يَمْسَحُ وَجْهَهُ بالماءِ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: «اللَّهُمَّ أعِنِّي عَلَى غَمَرَاتِ المَوْتِ أَوْ سَكَرَاتِ المَوْتِ». رواه الترمذي.

147 - Chapter on what someone who has lost his life says 911 - On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said: I heard the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - while he was leaning on me, saying: “O God, forgive me and have mercy on me, and join me with companions.” “The highest.” agreed. 912 - On her authority, she said: I saw the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - while he was dying, and he had a cup of water in it, and he was putting his hand into the cup, then wiping his face with water, then he said: “Oh God, help me in the depths of death or the throes of death.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi.

148 - باب استحباب وصية أهل المريض ومن يخدمه بالإحسان إليه واحتماله والصبر عَلَى مَا يشق من أمره وكذا الوصية بمن قرب سبب موته بحد أَوْ قصاص ونحوهما 913 - عن عِمْران بن الحُصَيْنِ رضي الله عنهما: أنَّ أمْرَأَةً مِنْ جُهَيْنَةَ أتَت النَّبِيَّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - وَهِيَ حُبْلَى مِنَ الزِّنَا، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رسول الله، أصَبْتُ حَدًّا فَأقِمْهُ عَلَيَّ، فَدَعَا رسولُ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - وَلِيَّهَا، فَقَالَ: «أحْسِنْ إِلَيْهَا، فَإذَا وَضَعَتْ فَأتِنِي بِهَا» فَفَعَلَ، فَأمَرَ بِهَا النَّبِيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - فَشُدَّتْ عَلَيْهَا ثِيَابُهَا، ثُمَّ أمَرَ بِهَا فَرُجِمَت، ثُمَّ صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا. رواه مسلم.

148 - Chapter on the desirability of advising the family of the sick person and those who serve him to be kind to him, tolerant of him, and to be patient with what is difficult for him, as well as the commandment of someone whose cause of death is due to punishment or retaliation and the like. 913 - On the authority of Imran bin Al-Husayn, may God be pleased with them both: That a woman from Juhayna came to the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - She was pregnant as a result of adultery, so she said: O Messenger of God, I have committed a punishment, so impose it on me. So the Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace - called her guardian and said: “Be kind to her, and when she gives birth Bring her to me.” So he did, so the Prophet - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - ordered that her clothes be pulled over her, then he ordered that she be stoned, then he prayed over her. 149 - باب جواز قول المريض: أنَا وجع، أَوْ شديد الوجع أَوْ مَوْعُوكٌ أَوْ وارأساه ونحو ذلك. وبيان أنَّه لا كراهة في ذلك إِذَا لَمْ يكن عَلَى سبيل التسخط وإظهار الجزع 914 - عن ابن مسعود - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - وَهُوَ يُوعَكُ، فَمَسَسْتُهُ، فَقلتُ: إنَّكَ لَتُوعَكُ وَعَكًا شَديدًا، فَقَالَ: «أجَلْ، إنِّي أُوعَكُ كَمَا يُوعَكُ رَجُلانِ مِنْكُمْ». متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ . 915 - وعن سعدِ بن أَبي وقاصٍ - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: جَاءني رسولُ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - يَعُودُنِي مِنْ وَجَعٍ اشْتَدَّ بِي، فقلتُ: بَلَغَ بِي مَا تَرَى، وَأنَا ذُو مَالٍ، وَلاَ يَرِثُنِي إِلاَّ ابْنَتِي .. وذَكر الحديث. متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ. 916 - وعن القاسم بن محمد، قَالَ: قالت عائشةُ رضي الله عنها: وَارَأسَاهُ! فَقَالَ النَّبيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم: «بَلْ أنَا، وَارَأسَاهُ!» ... وذكر الحديث. رواه البخاري.

149 - Chapter on the permissibility of a sick person saying: I am in pain, or I am in severe pain, or I am sick, or I am in pain, and so on. And a statement that there is no objection to that if it is not a matter of discontent and showing dismay. 914 - On the authority of Ibn Masoud - may God be pleased with him - he said: I entered upon the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - while he was unwell, so I touched him and said: You are very unwell. Severe, so he said: “Yes, I am as sick as two of you.” Agreed upon. 915 - On the authority of Saad bin Abi Waqqas - may God be pleased with him - he said: The Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - came to me to relieve me of a severe pain, so I said: I have suffered what you see, and I have wealth, and no one can inherit except me. My daughter.. and he mentioned the hadith. agreed. 916 - On the authority of Al-Qasim bin Muhammad, he said: Aisha, may God be pleased with her, said: And his two heads! Then the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - said: “Rather, I am his head!” ...and he mentioned the hadith. Narrated by Al-Bukhari.

150 - باب تلقين المحتضر: لا إله إِلاَّ اللهُ 917 - عن معاذ - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم: «مَنْ كَانَ آخِرَ كَلامِهِ لاَ إلهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ دَخَلَ الجَنَّةَ». رواه أَبُو داود والحاكم، وقال: «صحيح الإسناد». 918 - وعن أَبي سعيد الخدري - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رسولُ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم: «لَقِّنُوا مَوْتَاكُمْ لاَ إلهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ». رواه مسلم.

150 - Chapter on instructing the dying person: There is no god but God 917 - On the authority of Muadh - may God be pleased with him - he said: The Messenger of God - may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever’s last words are ‘There is no god but God’ will enter Paradise.” Narrated by Abu Dawud and Al-Hakim, and he said: “The chain of transmission is authentic.” 918 - On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri - may God be pleased with him - he said: The Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - said: “Teach your dead that there is no god but God.” Narrated by Muslim.

151 - باب مَا يقوله بعد تغميض الميت 919 - عن أُم سلمة رضي الله عنها، قالت: دَخَلَ رسولُ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - عَلَى أَبي سَلَمة وَقَدْ شَقَّ بَصَرُهُ، فَأغْمَضَهُ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «إنَّ الرُّوحَ إِذَا قُبِضَ، تَبِعَهُ البَصَرُ» فَضَجَّ نَاسٌ مِنْ أهْلِهِ، فَقَالَ: «لاَ تَدْعُوا عَلَى أنْفُسِكُمْ إِلاَّ بِخَيْرٍ، فَإنَّ المَلاَئِكَةَ يَؤمِّنُونَ عَلَى مَا تَقُولُونَ» ثُمَّ قَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لأَبِي سَلَمَة، وَارْفَعْ دَرَجَتْهُ في المَهْدِيِّينَ، وَاخْلُفْهُ في عَقِبهِ في الغَابِرِينَ، وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلَهُ يَا رَبَّ العَالَمِينَ، وَافْسَحْ لَهُ في قَبْرِهِ، وَنَوِّرْ لَهُ فِيهِ». رواه مسلم.

151 - Chapter on what to say after closing the dead person’s eyes 919 - On the authority of Umm Salamah, may God be pleased with her, she said: The Messenger of God - may God’s prayers and peace be upon him - entered upon Abu Salamah and his eyes were torn open, so he closed his eyes, then said: “When the soul is taken, Sight followed him.” Some of his family were upset, so he said: “Do not pray for yourselves except for good, for the angels believe in what you say.” Then he said: “O God, forgive Abu Salamah, raise his rank among the Mahdi, and succeed him in his succession among those who left behind, and forgive us and him, O Lord of the Worlds, and make room for him in His grave, and enlighten him therein.” Narrated by Muslim.

153 - باب جواز البكاء عَلَى الميت بغير ندب وَلاَ نياحة أمَّا النِّيَاحَةُ فَحَرَامٌ، وَسَيَأتِي فِيهَا بَابٌ فِي كِتابِ النَّهْيِ، إنْ شَاءَ اللهُ تَعَالَى. وَأمَّا البُكَاءُ فَجَاءتْ أحَادِيثُ بِالنَّهْيِ عَنْهُ، وَأنَّ المَيِّتَ يُعَذَّبُ بِبُكَاءِ أهْلِهِ، وَهِيَ مُتَأَوَّلَةٌ ومَحْمُولَةٌ عَلَى مَنْ أوْصَى بِهِ، وَالنَّهْيُ إنَّمَا هُوَ عَن البُكَاءِ الَّذِي فِيهِ نَدْبٌ، أَوْ نِيَاحَةٌ، والدَّليلُ عَلَى جَوَازِ البُكَاءِ بِغَيْرِ نَدْبٍ وَلاَ نِياحَةٍ أحَادِيثُ كَثِيرَةٌ، مِنْهَا: 925 - عن ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما: أنَّ رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - عاد سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَادَةَ، وَمَعَهُ عَبدُ الرَّحْمانِ بْنُ عَوفٍ، وَسَعدُ بْنُ أَبي وَقَّاصٍ، وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ - رضي الله عنهم - فَبَكَى رسولُ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - فَلَمَّا رَأى القَوْمُ بُكَاءَ رسولِ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - بَكَوْا، فَقَالَ: «ألاَ تَسْمَعُونَ؟ إنَّ الله لاَ يُعَذِّبُ بِدَمْعِ العَينِ، وَلاَ بِحُزنِ القَلبِ، وَلَكِنْ يُعَذِّبُ بِهذَا أَوْ يَرْحَمُ» وَأشَارَ إِلَى لِسَانِهِ. متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ. 926 - وعن أُسَامَة بن زَيدٍ رضي اللهُ عنهما: أنَّ رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - رُفِعَ إِلَيْهِ ابنُ ابْنَتِهِ وَهُوَ فِي المَوتِ، فَفَاضَتْ عَيْنَا رسولِ اللهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - فَقَالَ لَهُ سَعدٌ: مَا هَذَا يَا رسولَ الله؟! قَالَ: «هذِهِ رَحْمَةٌ جَعَلَهَا اللهُ تَعَالَى في قُلُوبِ عِبَادِهِ، وَإنَّمَا يَرْحَمُ اللهُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ الرُّحَمَاءَ». متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ. 927 - وعن أنسٍ - رضي الله عنه: أنَّ رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - دَخَلَ عَلَى ابْنِهِ إبْرَاهيمَ - رضي الله عنه - وَهُوَ يَجُودُ بِنَفسِهِ، فَجَعَلَتْ عَيْنَا رسولِ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - تَذْرِفَان. فَقَالَ لَهُ عبدُ الرحمانِ بن عَوف: وأنت يَا رسولَ الله؟! فَقَالَ: «يَا ابْنَ عَوْفٍ إنَّهَا رَحْمَةٌ» ثُمَّ أتْبَعَهَا بأُخْرَى، فَقَالَ: «إنَّ العَيْنَ تَدْمَعُ والقَلب يَحْزنُ، وَلاَ نَقُولُ إِلاَّ مَا يُرْضِي رَبَّنَا، وَإنَّا لِفِرَاقِكَ يَا إبرَاهِيمُ لَمَحزُونُونَ». رواه البخاري، وروى مسلم بعضه. والأحاديث في الباب كثيرة في الصحيح مشهورة، والله أعلم.

155 - باب الصلاة عَلَى الميت وتشييعه وحضور دفنه، وكراهة اتباع النساء الجنائز، وَقَدْ سَبَقَ فَضْلُ التَّشْييعِ. 929 - عن أَبي هريرة - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: قَالَ رسولُ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم: «مَنْ شَهِدَ الجَنَازَةَ حَتَّى يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا، فَلَهُ قِيراطٌ، وَمَنْ شَهِدَهَا حَتَّى تُدْفَنَ، فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ» قِيلَ: وَمَا القِيرَاطانِ؟ قَالَ: «مِثْلُ الجَبَلَيْنِ العَظِيمَيْنِ». متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ. 930 - وعنه: أنَّ رسولَ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - قَالَ: «مَنِ اتَّبَعَ جَنَازَةَ مُسْلِمٍ إيمانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا، وَكَانَ مَعَهُ حَتَّى يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهَا وَيُفرَغَ مِنْ دَفْنِهَا، فَإنَّهُ يَرْجعُ مِنَ الأَجْرِ بِقيراطَيْنِ كُلُّ قِيرَاطٍ مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ، وَمَنْ صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا، ثُمَّ رَجَعَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُدْفَنَ، فَإنَّهُ يَرْجِعُ بِقيرَاطٍ». رواه البخاري. 931 - وعن أم عطية رضي الله عنها، قالت: نُهِينَا عَنِ اتِّبَاعِ الجَنَائِزِ، وَلَمْ يُعْزَمْ عَلَيْنَا. متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ. ومعناه: وَلَمْ يُشَدَّدْ في النَّهْيِ كَمَا يُشَدَّدُ في المُحَرَّمَاتِ.

157 - باب مَا يقرأ في صلاة الجنازة يُكَبِّرُ أرْبَعَ تَكبِيرَاتٍ، يَتَعوَّذُ بَعْدَ الأُولَى، ثُمَّ يَقْرَأُ فَاتِحَةَ الكِتَابِ، ثُمَّ يُكَبِّرُ الثَّانِيَةَ، ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي عَلَى النَّبيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - فيقول: اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ. وَالأفْضَلُ أَنْ يُتَمِّمَهُ بقوله: كَمَا صَلَّيتَ عَلَى إبرَاهِيمَ - إِلَى قَوْله - إنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ. وَلاَ يَقُولُ مَا يَفْعَلهُ كَثيرٌ مِنَ العَوامِّ مِنْ قراءتِهِمْ: {إنَّ اللهَ وَمَلائِكَته يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبيِّ} [الأحزاب: 56] الآية، فَإنَّهُ لاَ تَصحُّ صَلاَتُهُ إِذَا اقْتَصَرَ عَلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ يُكَبِّرُ الثَّالِثَةَ، وَيَدعُو للمَيِّتِ وَللمُسْلِمِينَ بِمَا سَنَذكُرُهُ مِنَ الأحاديث إنْ شَاءَ اللهُ تَعَالَى، ثُمَّ يُكَبِّرُ الرَّابِعَةَ وَيَدْعُو. وَمِنْ أحْسَنِهِ: «اللَّهُمَّ لاَ تَحْرِمْنَا أجْرَهُ، وَلاَ تَفْتِنَّا بَعدَهُ، وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلَهُ». وَالمُخْتَارُ أنه يُطَوِّلُ الدُّعاء في الرَّابِعَة خلافَ مَا يَعْتَادُهُ أكْثَرُ النَّاس، لحديث ابن أَبي أَوْفى الذي سَنَذْكُرُهُ إنْ شَاء اللهُ تَعَالَى. وَأمَّا الأَدْعِيَةُ المَأثُورَةُ بَعْدَ التَّكبِيرَةِ الثالثة، فمنها: 935 - عن أَبي عبد الرحمان عوف بن مالك - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: صَلَّى رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - عَلَى جَنازَةٍ، فَحَفِظْتُ مِنْ دُعَائِهِ، وَهُوَ يقُولُ: «اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ، وَعَافِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ، وَأكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُ، وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُ، وَاغْسِلْهُ بِالْمَاءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالبَرَدِ، وَنَقِّهِ مِنَ الخَطَايَا كَمَا نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبَ الأَبْيَضَ مِنَ الدَّنَس، وَأَبْدِلْهُ دَارًا خَيْرًا مِنْ دَارِهِ، وَأَهْلًا خَيرًا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ، وَزَوْجًا خَيْرًا مِنْ زَوْجِهِ، وَأَدْخِلْهُ الجَنَّةَ، وَأَعِذْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ القَبْرِ، وَمِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ» حَتَّى تَمَنَّيتُ أن أكُون أنَا ذَلِكَ الْمَيِّت. رواه مسلم. 936 - وعن أَبي هريرة وأبي قتادة وَأبي إبراهيم الأشهلي، عن أبيه - وأبوه صَحَابيٌّ - رضي الله عنهم عن النبيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم: أنَّهُ صَلَّى عَلَى جَنَازَةٍ، فَقَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِحَيِّنَا وَمَيِّتِنَا، وَصَغِيرنَا وَكَبيرنَا، وَذَكَرِنَا وَأُنْثَانَا، وشَاهِدِنَا وَغَائِبِنَا، اللَّهُمَّ مَنْ أَحْيَيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَأَحْيِهِ عَلَى الإسْلاَمِ، وَمَنْ تَوَفَّيْتَهُ مِنَّا فَتَوفَّهُ عَلَى الإيمَان، اللَّهُمَّ لاَ تَحْرِمْنَا أَجْرَهُ، وَلاَ تَفْتِنَّا بَعدَهُ». رواه الترمذي من رواية أَبي هريرة والأشهلي. ورواه أَبُو داود من رواية أَبي هريرة وأبي قتادة. قَالَ الحاكم: «حديث أَبي هريرة صحيح عَلَى شرط البخاري ومسلم»، قَالَ الترمذي: «قَالَ البخاري: أصَحُّ رواياتِ هَذَا الحديث رواية الأشْهَلِيِّ، قَالَ البخاري: وأصح شيء في هَذَا الباب حديث عَوْفِ ابن مَالِكٍ». 937 - وعن أَبي هريرة - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - يقول: «إِذَا صَلَّيْتُمْ عَلَى المَيِّتِ، فَأَخْلِصُوا لَهُ الدُّعاء». رواه أَبُو داود. 938 - وعنه، عن النبيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - في الصَّلاَةِ عَلَى الجَنَازَةِ: «اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبُّهَا، وَأَنْتَ خَلَقْتَهَا، وَأَنتَ هَدَيْتَهَا للإسْلاَمِ، وَأَنتَ قَبَضْتَ رُوحَهَا، وَأَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِسرِّهَا وَعَلاَنِيَتِهَا، وَقَدْ جِئنَاكَ شُفَعَاءَ لَهُ، فَاغْفِرْ لَهُ». رواه أَبُو داود. 939 - وعن وَاثِلَة بنِ الأَسْقَعِ - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: صَلَّى بِنَا رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - عَلَى رَجُلٍ مِنَ المُسْلِمِينَ، فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: «اللَّهُمَّ إنَّ فُلانَ ابْنَ فُلانٍ في ذِمَتِّكَ وَحَبْلِ جِوَارِكَ، فَقِهِ فِتْنَةَ القَبْرِ، وَعذَابَ النَّار، وَأَنْتَ أهْلُ الوَفَاءِ وَالحَمْدِ؛ اللَّهُمَّ فَاغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ، إنَّكَ أنْتَ الغَفُورُ الرَّحيمُ». رواه أَبُو داود. 940 - وعن عبدِ الله بنِ أبي أَوْفى رضي الله عنهما: أنَّهُ كَبَّرَ عَلَى جَنَازَةِ ابْنَةٍ لَهُ أرْبَعَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ، فَقَامَ بَعْدَ الرَّابِعَةِ كَقَدْرِ مَا بَيْنَ التَّكْبِيرَتَيْنِ يَسْتَغْفِرُ لَهَا وَيَدْعُو، ثُمَّ قَالَ: كَانَ رسول اللهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - يَصْنَعُ هكَذَا. وفي رواية: كَبَّرَ أرْبَعًا فَمَكَثَ سَاعَةً حَتَّى ظَنَنْتُ أنَّهُ سَيُكَبِّرُ خَمْسًا، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ عَنْ يَمينِهِ وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ. فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قُلْنَا لَهُ: مَا هَذَا؟ فَقَالَ: إنِّي لاَ أزيدُكُمْ عَلَى مَا رأيْتُ رسولَ اللهِ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - يَصْنَعُ، أَوْ: هكَذَا صَنَعَ رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم. رواه الحاكم، وقال: «حديث صحيح».

Bab 157. Apa-apa Yang Dibaca Dalam Shalat Jenazah Cara shalat jenazah ialah: Bertakbir empat kali. Sesudah takbir pertama membaca ta'awwudz -A'udzu billahi minasy syaithanir rajim- lalu membaca Fatihatulkitab -yakni surat al-Fatihah-, kemudian bertakbir yang kedua kalinya, lalu mengucapkan shalawat kepada Nabi s.a.w. mengucapkan: Allahumma shalli 'ala Muhammad wa 'ala ali Muhammad. Adapun yang lebih utama ialah supaya disempurnakan dengan ucapan: Kama shallaita 'ala Ibrahim sampai ucapan Hamidum majid. Jadi jangan membaca sebagaimana yang dikerjakan oleh sebagian besar orang awam, yaitu mereka sama mengucapkan: Innallaha wa malaikatahu yushailuna 'alan nabiyyi dan seterusnya sampai habisnya ayat, sebab sesungguhnya saja tidak akan sahlah shalatnya, jikalau seorang itu meringkaskan bacaannya pada yang demikian itu belaka. Selanjutnya lalu bertakbir yang ketiga dan berdoa untuk mayit dan untuk seluruh kaum Musiimin, sebagaimana yang akan kami uraikan hadis-hadisnya di bawah ini. Insya Allah Ta'ala. Seterusnya ialah bertakbir keempat kalinya dan berdoa. Setengah daripada sebaik-baiknya doa ialah: ajrahu wa la taftinna ba'dahu waghfir lana walahu -artinya-: Ya Allah, janganlah menghalang-halangi kita untuk memperoleh pahala sebab memperoleh musibah ditinggalkan mayit itu, jangan pula ada fitnah sepeninggalnya dan ampunilah untuk kita semua dan untuk mayit ini pula. Yang terpilih ialah supaya seseorang itu memperpanjangkan doanya dalam doa sehabis takbir keempat ini. Jadi hal ini menyalahi apa-apa yang biasa dilakukan oleh sebagian banyak manusia -yang suka memendekkan doa itu-. Ini adalah berdasarkan Hadis Ibnu Abi Aufa yang akan kami sebutkan di belakang Insya Allah Ta'ala. Adapun doa-doa yang datang dari Nabi s.a.w. sesudah takbir ketiga, diantaranya ialah: 932. Dari Abdur Rahman bin Auf bin Malik r.a., katanya: "Rasulullah s.a.w. menshalatkan jenazah, lalu saya menghafalkan sesuatu dari doanya, yaitu beliau s.a.w. mengucapkan -yang artinya-: "Ya Allah, ampunilah ia dan belas kasihanilah. Selamatkanlah ia dan maafkanlah, muliakanlah tempat kediamannya -dalam kubur- dan luaskanlah tempat masuknya, bersihkanlah ia dengan air, salju dan embun, bersihkanlah ia dari kesalahan-kesalahannya sebagaimana Engkau membersihkan pakaian putih dari kotoran, berilah ia ganti berupa perumahan yang lebih baik dari perumahannya -di dunia- juga ganti keluarga yang lebih baik dari keluarganya -di dunia- serta kawinkanlah ia dengan suami -atau istri- yang lebih baik dari suami -atau istrinya- di dunia. Masukkanlah ia dalam syurga dan lindungilah ia dari siksa kubur dan siksa neraka." 'Aufa berkata: "Sehingga saya mengharapkan hendaknya sayalah yang menjadi mayit ketika itu." (Riwayat Muslim) 933. Dari Abu Hurairah, Abu Qatadah dan Abu Ibrahim al-Asyhali dari ayahnya dan ayahnya adalah seorang sahabat radhiallahu 'anhum dari Nabi s.a.w. bahwasanya beliau menshalatkan jenazah, lalu mengucapkan -yang artinya-: "Ya Allah, ampunilah untuk yang masih hidup dan yang telah mati dari kita, yang kecil dan yang besar -maksudnya yang muda dan yang tua-, yang lelaki dan yang perempuan, yang hadir ini dan yang tidak hadir. Ya Allah, barangsiapa yang Engkau hidupkan diantara kita, maka hidupkanlah dengan menetapi Agama Islam dan barangsiapa yang Engkau matikan dari kita, maka matikanlah dengan menetapi keimanan. Ya Allah, janganlah menghalang-halangi kita untuk memperoleh pahala sebab mendapatkan musibah ditinggalkan mayit ini dan jangan ada fitnah sepeninggalnya." Diriwayatkan oleh Imam Tirmidzi dari riwayat Abu Hurairah dan al-Asyhali. Juga diriwayatkan oleh Imam Abu Dawud dari riwayat Abu Hurairah dan Abu Qatadah. Imam Hakim berkata: "Hadis Abu Hurairah ini shahih menurut syaratnya Imam-imam Bukhari dan Muslim." Imam Tirmidzi berkata: "Imam Bukhari berkata: "Selengkap-lengkap riwayat-riwayat Hadis dalam bab ini ialah riwayatnya al-Asyhali." Imam Bukhari berkata: "Sebagus-bagus hadis dalam bab ini ialah Hadisnya 'Auf bin Malik". 934. Dari Abu Hurairah r.a., katanya: "Saya mendengar Rasulullah s.a.w. bersabda: "Jikalau engkau semua menshalatkan mayit, maka bersikap ikhlaslah -tulus- dalam mengucapkan doa untuk mayit itu." (Riwayat Abu Dawud) 935. Dari Abu Hurairah r.a. pula dari Nabi s.a.w. perihal doa menshalatkan jenazah, yaitu -yang artinya-: "Ya Allah, Engkau adalah Tuhan jenazah ini, Engkau pula yang menciptakannya, Engkau memberikannya petunjuk untuk memeluk Agama Islam. Engkau mencabut ruhnya dan Engkau lebih mengetahui perihal rahasia dan apa yang kelihatan daripada dirinya. Kita semua datang menghadapMu untuk memohonkan syafaat padanya. Maka dari itu ampunilah jenazah ini." (Riwayat Abu Dawud) 936. Dari Watsilah bin al-Asqa' r.a., katanya: "Rasulullah s.a.w. menshalatkan jenazah seorang lelaki dari kaum Muslimin beserta kita, lalu saya mendengar beliau s.a.w. mengucapkan -yang artinya-: "Ya Allah, sesungguhnya Fulan anak Fulan ini adalah dalam tanggunganMu dan ikatan keamananMu, maka dari itu lindungilah ia dari fitnah kubur dan siksanya. Engkau adalah ahli dalam menetapi janji dan memiliki pujian. Ya Allah, maka ampunilah ia, belas kasihanilah, sesungguhnya Engkau adalah Maha Pengampun lagi Penyayang." (Riwayat Abu Dawud) 937. Dari Abdullah bin Abu Aufa radhiallahu 'anhuma, bahwasanya ia bertakbir untuk menshalatkan jenazah anak perempuannya, lalu ia berdiri sesudah takbir keempat seperti kadar waktu berdirinya antara dua takbir, kemudian ia berkata: "Rasulullah s.a.w. melakukan sedemikian ini." Dalam riwayat lain disebutkan: Abdullah bin Abu 'Aufa bertakbir yang keempat kalinya, lalu berdiam diri sebentar, sehingga saya mengira bahwa ia akan bertakbir untuk kelima kalinya, kemudian bersalam menoleh kesebelah kanannya lalu kesebelah kirinya. Setelah ia selesai shalat, kitapun bertanya padanya: "Apakah artinya itu tadi?" -maksudnya antara takbir keempat dengan salam, mengapa lama sekali?- Ia menjawab: "Sesungguhnya saya tidak akan menambahkan untukmu semua melebihi dari apa yang saya lihat dari Rasulullah s.a.w. sebagaimana yang beliau lakukan," atau ia berkata: "Memang demikian itulah yang dikerjakan oleh Rasulullah s.a.w." Diriwayatkan oleh Imam Hakim dan ia mengatakan bahwa ini adalah hadis shahih.

158 - باب الإسراع بالجنازة 941 - عن أَبي هريرة - رضي الله عنه - عن النبيِّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - قَالَ: «أسْرِعُوا بالجَنَازَةِ، فَإنْ تَكُ صَالِحَةً، فَخَيرٌ تُقَدِّمُونَهَا إِلَيْهِ، وَإنْ تَكُ سِوَى ذَلِكَ، فَشَرٌّ تَضَعُونَهُ عَنْ رِقَابِكُمْ». متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ. وفي روايةٍ لمسلمٍ: «فَخَيْرٌ تُقَدِّمُونَهَا عَلَيْهِ». 942 - وعن أَبي سعيد الخدري - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: كَانَ النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - يقُولُ: «إِذَا وُضِعَت الجَنَازَةُ، فَاحْتَمَلَهَا الرِّجَالُ عَلَى أعنَاقِهمْ، فَإنْ كَانَتْ صَالِحَةً، قالتْ: قَدِّمُونِي، وَإنْ كَانَتْ غَيْرَ صَالِحَةٍ، قَالَتْ لأَهْلِهَا: يَا وَيْلَهَا أَيْنَ تَذْهَبُونَ بِهَا؟ يَسْمَعُ صَوْتَهَا كُلُّ شَيْءٍ إِلاَّ الإنْسَانَ، وَلَوْ سَمِعَ الإنسَانُ لَصَعِقَ». رواه البخاري.

159 - باب تعجيل قضاء الدَّين عن الميت والمبادرة إِلَى تجهيزه إلا أن يموت فجأة فيترك حَتَّى يُتَيَقَّنَ مَوْتُه 943 - عن أَبي هريرة - رضي الله عنه - عن النبي - صلى الله عليه وسلم - قَالَ: «نَفْسُ المُؤْمِنِ مُعَلَّقَةٌ بِدَيْنِهِ حَتَّى يُقْضى عَنْهُ». رواه الترمذي، وقال: «حديث حسن». 944 - وعن حُصَيْنِ بن وَحْوَحٍ - رضي الله عنه: أنَّ طَلْحَةَ بْنَ البَرَاءِ بن عَازِبٍ رضي الله عنهما مَرِضَ، فَأتَاهُ النَّبيُّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - يَعُودُهُ، فَقَالَ: «إنِّي لاَ أرى طَلْحَةَ إِلاَّ قَدْ حَدَثَ فِيهِ المَوْتُ، فآذِنُوني بِهِ وَعَجِّلُوا بِهِ، فَإنَّهُ لاَ يَنْبَغِي لجِيفَةِ مُسْلِمٍ أَنْ تُحْبَسَ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانِيْ أهْلِهِ». رواه أَبُو داود.

160 - باب الموعظة عند القبر 945 - عن عَلِيٍّ - رضي الله عنه - قَالَ: كُنَّا فِي جَنَازَةٍ في بَقيعِ الغَرْقَدِ، فَأتَانَا رسولُ الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - فَقَعَدَ، وَقَعَدْنَا حَوْلَهُ وَمَعَهُ مِخْصَرَةٌ فَنَكَّسَ وَجَعَلَ يَنْكُتُ بِمِخْصَرَتِهِ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أحَدٍ إِلاَّ وَقَدْ كُتِبَ مَقْعَدُهُ مِنَ النَّارِ وَمَقْعَدُهُ مِنَ الجَنَّةِ» فقالوا: يَا رسولَ الله، أفَلا نَتَّكِلُ عَلَى كِتَابنَا؟ فَقَالَ: «اعْمَلُوا؛ فكلٌّ مُيَسَّرٌ لِمَا خُلِقَ لَهُ ... » وذكَر تَمَامَ الحديث. متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ.
