Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Has told us [Bisyr bin Mu'adz Adl Dlarir] said, has told us [Hammad bin Zaid] and [Abu Awanah] from [Amru bin Dinar] from [Thawus] from [Ibn Abbas] he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "I was ordered not to restrain hair and cloth (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1040.) 2nd hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you مَوْطَإٍ .. It has been told to us [Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Numair] said, it has been told to us [Abdullah bin Idris] from [A'masy] from [Abu Wa`il] from [Abdullah] he said, "We were ordered not to restrain our hair and cloth when prostrating. And we were not ordered to repeat ablution if we stepped on dirt (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1041.) 3rd Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا بَces God willing God willing God willing أَبَا سَعْدٍ، - رَجُلاً مِنْ أَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ - يَقُولُ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind وسلم ـ رَأَى الْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي وَقَدْ God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَهُوَ عَاقِصٌ شَعْرَهُ .. Has told us [Bakr bin Khalaf] said, has told us [Khalid Ibnul Harith] from [Syu'bah]. (in another way it is stated) Has told us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Ja'far] said, has told us [Syu'bah] said, has told me [Mukhawwal bin Rasyid] said; I heard [Abu Sa'id] -a man from Medina- say; I saw [Abu Rafi'] a former slave of Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he once saw Hasan bin Ali praying with his hair in a bun and then letting it go, or he forbade that. He said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade someone to pray with their hair tied in a bun (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1042.) 4th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وسلم ـ " لاَ تَرْفَعُوا أَبْصَارَكُمْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ أَنْ تَلْتَمِعَ " . يَعْنِي فِي الصَّلاَةِ .. Has told us [Uthman bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Thalhah bin Yahya] from [Yunus] from [Az Zuhri] from [Salim] from [Ibn Umar] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Do not raise your gaze to the sky until your eyes are blind. " -Namely in prayer (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1043.) 5th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَم God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind أَقْوَامٍ يَرْفَعُونَ أَبْصَارَهُمْ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ " . may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind ذَلِكَ أَوْ لَيَخْطَفَنَّ اللَّهُ أَبْصَارَهُمْ " .. Has told us [Nashr bin Ali Al Jahdlami] said, has told us [Abdul A'la] said, has told us [Sa'id] from [Qatadah] from [Anas bin Malik] he said, "Once the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam prayed with his companions, after the prayer he turned towards the people and said: "Why do people like to raise their eyes to the sky - until his voice high- they immediately end their actions or Allah will strike their eyes (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1044.) 6th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing God willing قَالَ " لَيَنْتَهِيَنَّ أَقْوَامٌ يَرْفَعُونَ God willing أَبْصَارُهُمْ " .. It has been told to us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] said, it has been told to us ['Abdurrahman] said, it has been told to us [Sufyan] from [Al A'masy] from [Al Musayyab bin Rafi'] from [Tamim bin Tharafah] from [Jabir bin Samurah] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Those people immediately put an end to their actions of raising their eyes to the sky or their eyes will not return again (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1045.) 7th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. love الصَّفِّ الْمُؤَخَّرَ مِنْ تَحْتِ إِبْطِهِ فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ {وَلَقَدْ عَلِمْنَا God willing الْمُسْتَأْخِرِينَ} فِي شَأْنِهَا .. It has been told to us that [Humaid bin Mas'adah] and [Abu Bakr bin Khallad] both said; has told us [Nuh bin Qais] said, has told us [Amru bin Malik] from [Abul Jauza`] from [Ibn Abbas] he said, "A woman once prayed behind the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam -she was the most beautiful woman-. Some of the companions moved to the front row so they could not see her, while some of the other companions deliberately retreated to the back row. So when bowing (those in the back row), Ibn Abbas said, "Like this - namely looking from under his armpit -. So Allah revealed the verse: "(And indeed We have known those who are foremost among you and We have indeed known those who are behind)," in the case of this woman (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1046.) 8th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ أَتَى رَجُلٌ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَحَدُنَا يُصَلِّي فِي الثَّوْبِ الْوَاحِدِ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " أَوَكُلُّكُمْ يَجِدُ ثَوْبَيْنِ " .. It has been told to us that [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Hisyam bin Ammar] both said; said, has told us [Sufyan bin Uyainah] from [Az Zuhri] from [Sa'id Ibnul Musayyab] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "A man came to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and said, "One of us prays wearing only one cloth?" he said: "Do you all have two cloths? Has told us [Abu Kuraib] said, has told us [Umar bin Ubaid] from [A'masy] from [Abu Sufyan] from [Jabir] said, has told me [Abu Sa'id Al Khudlri] that he once visited the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, when he prayed wearing a cloth draped over him (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1048.) 10th Hadith. God willing وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عُمَرَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you وَاضِعًا طَرَفَيْهِ عَلَى عَاتِقَيْهِ .. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, it has been told to us [Waki'] from [Hisyam bin Urwah] from [His father] from [Umar bin Abu Salamah] he said, "I once had the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam pray while wearing a cloth, he slung it and put the ends on both shoulders (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1049.) 11th Hadith. God willing مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْعَبَّاسِ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مَعْرُوفِ مُشْكَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. .. Has told us [Abu Ishaq Asy Syafi'I Ibrahim bin Muhammad bin Al Abbas] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Hanzhalah bin Abbad Al Makhzumi] from [Ma'ruf bin Musykan] from ['Abdurrahman bin Kaisan] from [his father] he said, "I saw Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam praying wearing one cloth in Bi`rul 'Ulya (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1050.) 12th Hadith. God willing مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، God willing God willing وَالْعَصْرَ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ مُتَلَبِّبًا بِهِ .. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, it has been told to us [Muhammad bin Bisyr] said, it has been told to us [Amru bin Kathir] from [Ibn Kaisan] from [his father] he said, "I once saw the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam praying midday and afternoon prayers wearing a mutalabbiban cloth (gathering the ends in front of his chest) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1051.) 13th Hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " إِذَا قَرَأَ ابْنُ آدَمَ السَّجْدَةَ فَسَجَدَ اعْتَزَلَ God bless you God willing بِالسُّجُودِ فَأَبَيْتُ فَلِيَ النَّارُ " .. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, it has been told to us [Abu Mu'awiyah] from [Al A'masy] from [Abu Salih] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If the son of Adam reads the verse of the prayer mat and then prostrates, then Satan moves away crying, he said, "O poor thing, the son of Adam was ordered to prostrate and then he prostrate, then he goes to heaven. Meanwhile, I was ordered to prostrate but I refused, so I went to hell (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1052.) 14th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّد7 الْحَسَنِ بْنْ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ قَالَ لِي ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ يَا حَسَنُ أَخْبَرَنِي God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing. God willing. God willing ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَرَأَ السَّجْدَةَ فَسَجَدَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ God bless you قَوْلِ الشَّجَرَةِ.. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Khallad Al Bahili] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Yazid bin Khunais] from [Al Hasan bin Muhammad bin Ubaidullah bin Abu Yazid] he said; [Ibn Juraij] said to me, "O Hasan, [your grandfather] has informed me from [Ibn Abbas], that he once said, "I was with the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, suddenly a man came to him and said, "Last night I dreamed as if I was praying under a tree, I read the verse on the prayer mat and then prostrated. Suddenly the tree bowed down because of my prostration. And I heard the tree say, "O Allah, with this prostration erase my sins, write a reward for me, and make it with You as a deposit." authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1053.) 15th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ، عَنِ God willing God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَبَصَرَهُ تَبَارَكَ اللَّهُ أَحْسَنُ الْخَالِقِينَ " .. Has told us [Ali bin Amru Al Ansari] said, has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id Al Umawi] from [Ibn Juraij] from [Musa bin Uqbah] from [Abdullah Ibnul Fadll] from [Al A'raj] from [Ubaidullah bin Abu Rafi'] from [Ali] said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam if he prostrates read: ALLAHUMMA AAMANTU WA LAKA ASLAMTU ANTA RABBI SAJADA WAJHII LILLADZII SYAQQA SA'AHUU WA BASHARAHUU TABAARAKA ALLAHU AHSANUL KHAALIGIIN (Degree: authentic. Has told us [Harmalah bin Yahya Al Mishri] said, has told us [Abdullah bin Wahb] said, has told me [Amru Ibnul Harits] from [Ibn Abu Hilal] from [Umar Ad Dimasyqi] from [Ummu Darda] he said, "[Abu Darda] told me that he once prostrated with the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam eleven times, one of which is in the letter An Najm (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1055.) 17th Hadith. God bless you بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing God bless you God bless you God willing وَبَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ وَمَرْيَمُ وَالْحَجُّ وَسَجْدَةُ God willing وَفِي ص وَسَجْدَةُ الْحَوَامِيمِ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] said, has told us [Sulaiman bin 'Abdurrahman Ad Dimasyqi] said, has told us [Uthman bin Fa`id] said, has told us [Ashim bin Raja` bin Haiwah] from [Al Mahdi bin 'Abdurrahman bin Abidah bin Khathir] said; said, had told me my aunt [Ummu Darda] from [Abu Darda] she said, "I once prostrated on the prayer mat with the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam eleven times, all of which are not found in the Al Mufashshal letter; Al A'raf, Ar Ra'd, An Nahl, Bani Isra'il, Maryam, Al Hajj, Al Furqan, Sulaiman in the An Naml letter, the prayer mat in the Shaad letter, and the sajdah Surah Al Hawamim (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1056.) 18th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدَ مَرْيَمَ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْعُتَقِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُنَيْنٍ، - مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ كِلاَلٍ - عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، أَنَّ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind الْمُفَصَّلِ وَفِي الْحَجِّ سَجْدَتَيْنِ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] said, has told us [Ibn Abu Maryam] from [Nafi' bin Yazid] said, has told us [Al Harith bin Sa'id Al 'Utaqi] from [Abdullah bin Munain] - a man from Bani Abdu Kilal - from [Amru bin Al 'Ash] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam read to him the fifteen verses of the prayer rug in Al Koran; of which three are in Al Mufashshal and two are in Surat Al Hajj (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1057.) 19th hadith. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Sufyan bin Uyainah] from [Ayyub bin Musa] from ['Atho` bin Mina] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "We prostrate in sajdah with the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam in the verses IDZAS SAMAA`UN SYAQQAT (When the sky splits) and IQRA` BISMIRABBIKA (Read with (mention) the name of your Lord (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1058.) 20th hadith. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Sufyan bin Uyainah] from [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Abu Bakr bin Muhammad bin Amru bin Hazm] from [Umar bin Abdul Aziz] from [Abu Bakr bin 'Abdurrahman bin Ibnul Harith bin Hisham] from [Abu Hurairah] said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam prostrated to verse; IDZAS SAMAA`UN SYAQQAT (When the heavens split). " Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah said, "This is a hadith that comes from Yahya bin Sa'id, and I did not hear anyone mention it besides him (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1059.) 21st Hadith. God willing عَبْدُ اللَّهْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَصَلَّى وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فِي نَاحِيَةٍ مِنَ God willing فَارْجِعْ فَصَلِّ فَإِنَّكَ لَمْ تُصَلِّ " . فَرَجَعَ God bless you وسلم ـ فَقَالَ " وَعَلَيْكَ فَارْجِعْ فَصَلِّ فَإِنَّكَ لَمْ تُصَلِّ بَعْدُ " . قَالَ فِي الثَّالِثَةَ فَعَلِّمْنِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . قَالَ "إِذَا قُمْتَ إِلَى الصَّلاَةِ فَأَسْبِغَ God bless you God willing God willing God willing God willing كُلِّهَا" .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Abdullah bin Numair] from [Ubaidullah bin Umar] from [Sa'id bin Abu Sa'id] from [Abu Hurairah] said, "A man entered the mosque and prayed, while the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was in the corner of the mosque. The man then came while saying hello, but the Prophet said: "Go back and pray, because you haven't prayed yet. "The man went back to praying, then came back to him and said the prayer to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Go back and pray, because you haven't prayed yet. " And the third time he said, "O Messenger of Allah, teach me. "He said: "When you pray, complete your ablution and face the direction of the Qibla. Then take takbir and read a verse from the Qur'an that is easy for you, then bow until you are calm, then stand up until you are standing straight, then prostrate until you are calm, then raise your head until you are sitting upright. And do the same in all your prayers (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1060.) 22nd Hadith. God bless you God willing مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا God willing اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فِيهِمْ or God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings. God bless you . قَالَ بَلَى . قَالُوا فَاعْرِضْ . قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings كَبَّرَ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ حَتَّى يُحَاذِيَ بِهِمَا مَنْكِبَيْهِ وَيَقِرَّ كُلُّ عُضْوٍ مِنْهُ فِي مَوْضِعِهِ ثُمَّ يَقْرَأُ ثُمَِ يُحَاذِيَ بِهِمَا مَنْكِبَيْهِ ثُمَّ يَرْكَعُ وَيَضَعُ God willing رَأْسَهُ وَلاَ يُقْنِعُ مُعْتَدِلاً ثُمَّ يَقُولُ "" God willing " ." يُحَاذِيَ بِهِمَا مَنْكِبَيْهِ حَتَّى يَقِرَّ كُلُّ عَظْمٍ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. يَدَيْهِ عَنْ جَنْبَيْهِ ثُمَِ رِجْلَهُ الْيُسْرَي God willing God willing عَظْمٍ مِنْهُ إِلَى مَوْضِعِهِ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَصْنَعُ فِي God willing God willing مَنْكِبَيْهِ كَمَا صَنَعَ عِنْدَ افْتِتَاحِ الصَّلاَةِ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي بَقِيَّةَ صَلاَتِهِ هَكَذَا حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَتِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. إِحْدَى رِجْلَيْهْ مُتَوَرِّكًا . قَالُوا صَدَقْتَ هَكَذَا كَانَ يُصَلِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] said, has told us [Abu Ashim] said, has told us [Abdul Hamid bin Ja'far] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Amru bin 'Atho`] said; I heard [Abu Humaid As Sa'idi] - he was one of the ten companions of Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam who were gathered - among them there was also [Abu Qatadah], he said, "I am the person who knows the prayers of Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam better than all of you," they asked, "How is that possible! By Allah, don't you follow Rasulullah more than us, and not meet him before us?" Abu Qatadah answered, "That's right." They said, "Then explain (to us)," Abu Qatadah said, "When Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam stood up to pray, he took takbir and raised both hands until they were parallel to the shoulders and every organ of the body returned to its place. Then he placed his two palms and rested on his knees, balanced without raising or lowering his head. Then he said; SAMI'A ALLAHU LIMAN HAMIDAHU while raising both hands until they were parallel to the shoulders and every bone. returned to his place. After that he went down to the ground (sujud) and moved his hands away from his stomach, then he raised his head and spread his left leg and sat on it - he also flexed his toes and pointed them towards the Qibla when prostrating -, then he prostrated, then took the takbir and sat on his left leg until the bones returned to their original position when he started the prayer (Takbiratul Ikram). Then he did the rest of the prayer like that, until when he came to the last prostration before the greeting he put one of his legs to the end and sat in tawaruk on the left side." They said, "You are right, that is how Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam prayed (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1061.) 23rd Hadith.
