Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing عليه وسلم ـ عَلَى مَرِيضٍ يَعُودُهُ فَقَالَ "" شَيْئًا أَتَشْتَهِي كَعْكًا " . قَالَ نَعَمْ . فَطَلَبُوا لَهُ .. Has told us [Sufyan bin Waki'] said, has told us [Abu Yahya Al Himmani] from [Al A'masy] from [Yazid Ar Raqqasyi] from [Anas bin Malik] he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam visited a sick person, then he asked: "Do you want something? Do you want bread?" he answered, "Yes," then the companions looked for bread for him (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1440.) 2nd hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you God bless you God bless you مَرِيضٍ فَمُرْهُ أَنْ يَدْعُوَ لَكَ فَإِنَّ دُعَاءَهُ كَدُعَاءِ الْمَلاَئِكَةِ " .. It has been told to us [Ja'far bin Musafir] said, it has been told to me [Katsir bin Hisham] said, it has been told to us [Ja'far bin Burqan] from [Maimun bin Mihran] from [Umar bin Khaththab] he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said to me: "If you visit a sick person then ask him to pray for you. Because his prayer is like the prayer of angels (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1441.) 3rd Hadith. God bless you God bless you عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنْ God willing مَنا God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing أَلْفَ مَلَكٍ حَتَّي عَلَيْهِ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفَ مَلَكٍ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ " .. It has been told to us [Uthman bin Abu Syaibah] said, it has been told to us [Abu Mu'awiyah] said, it has been told to us [Al A'masy] from [Al Hakam] from ['Abdurrahman bin Abu Laila] from [Ali] he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam say: "Whoever visits his brother muslim then it is as if he were walking under the trees of paradise until he sat down, if he sat down then grace will surround him. If he visits him in the morning, then seventy thousand angels will pray to him until the afternoon, and if he visits him in the evening, then seventy thousand angels will pray to him until the morning (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1442.) 4th Hadith. God bless you يَعْقُوبَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سِنَانٍ الْقَسْمَلِيُّ، عَنْ God willing قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " مَنْ عَادَ message مَمْشَاكَ وَتَبَوَّأْتَ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ مَنْزِلاً " .. It has been told to us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] said, it has been told to us [Yusuf bin Ya'qub] said, it has been told to us [Abu Sinan Al Qasmali] from [Uthman bin Abu Saudah] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever visits a sick person, there will be a caller from heaven who will call, "You are well, well as well as your journey, and you will occupy a residence in heaven (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1443.) 5th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind إِلاَّ اللَّهُ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Abu Khalid Al Ahmar] from [Yazid bin Kaisan] from [Abu Hazim] from [Abu Hurairah] Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Talqin is the one who will die among you with LAA ILAAHA ILLA ALLAH (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1444.) 6th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind إِلاَّ اللَّهُ " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] said, has told us ['Abdurrahman bin Mahdi] from [Sulaiman bin Bilal] from [Umarah bin Ghaziah] from [Yahya bin Umarah] from [Abu Sa'id Al Khudri] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Talqin is the one who will die among you with LAA ILAAHA ILLA ALLAH (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1445.) 7th Hadith. God bless you God willing اللَّهِ بْنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing الْعَالَمِينَ " . قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ لِلأَحْيَاءِ قَالَ " أَجْوَدُ وَأَجْوَدُ " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] said, has told us [Abu Amir] said, has told us [Katsir bin Yazid] from [Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Ja'far] from [his father] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Give talqin to those who will die among you with; LAA ILAAHA ILLA ALLAH AL HALIIMU AL KARIIMU SUBHAANA ALLAH RABBUl 'ARSYIl 'AZHIIM AL HAMDULILLAAHI RABBIL 'AALAMIIN (There is no god worthy of worship except Allah, the Most Gentle, the Most Gracious. Glory be to Allah, the great Lord of the Throne. Praise be to Allah, the Rabb of all the worlds). " The companions asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what if for the people who are still alive?" He answered: "That would be better (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1446.) 8th Hadith. God willing مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ God willing رَسُولُ اللَّهْ God willing الْمَلاَئِكَةَ يُؤَمِّنُونَ عَلَى مَا تَقُولُونَ " . Allah's blessings God bless you قَدْ مَاتَ . قَالَ " قُولِي اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلَهُ وَأَعْقِبْنِي مِنْهُ عُقْبَى حَسَنَةً " . قَالَتْ فَفَعَلْتُ فَأَعْقَبَنِي اللَّهُ مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْهُ . مُحَمَّدٌ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ .. It has been told to us that [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Ali bin Muhammad] both said; has told us [Abu Mu'awiyah] from [Al A'masy] from [Syaqiq] from [Ummu Salamah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If you attend a sick person or a dead person then say good things, because the angels approve of what you say. "When Abu Salamah died I went to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, I said, "O Messenger of Allah, Abu Salamah has died! " he said: "Pray; O Allah, forgive me and him, and give me a replacement that is better than him. " Umm Salamah said, "Then I did it, and apparently Allah gave me a better replacement than him, Muhammad Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1447.) 9th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing بِالنَّهْدِيِّ - عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ مَعْقِلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " اقْرَءُوهَا عِنْدَ مَوْتَاكُمْ " . يَعْنِي {يس} .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Ali Ibnul Hasan bin Syaqiq] from [Ibnul Mubarak] from [Sulaiman At Taimi] from [Abu Uthman] -not An Nahdi- from [his father] from [Ma'qil bin Yasar] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Read it for the people to died from you, namely YASIIN (Degree: sahih. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1448.) 10th Hadith. حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدَ هَارُونَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، God willing God willing عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنْ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing عَلَيْهِ مِنِّي السَّلاَمَ . God willing عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنْ God bless you طَيْرٍ خُضْرٍ تَعْلُقُ فِي شَجَرِ الْجَنَّةِ " . قَالَ بَلَى . قَالَتْ فَهُوَ ذَاكَ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] said, has told us [Yazid bin Harun]. (in another way mentioned) Has told us [Muhammad bin Isma'il] said, has told us [Al Muharibi] everything from [Muhammad bin Ishaq] from [Al Harith bin Fudlail] from [Az Zuhri] from ['Abdurrahman bin Ka'b bin Malik] from [his father] said, "When death was about to come to Ka'b, Umm Bisyr bint Al Bara bin Ma'ruf came to him and said, "O Abu 'Abdurrahman, if you meet so and so, then convey my greetings," Ka'b said, "May Allah forgive you, O Umm Bisyr, we are busier than that. "Umm Bisyr said, "O Abu 'Abdurrahman, didn't you hear the words of Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam: "Indeed the souls of the believers are with the green birds hanging in the trees of paradise," Ka'b answered, "That's right," Umm Bisyr said, "That (what I mean) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1449.) 11th Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدْ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ السَّلاَمَ .. Has told us [Ahmad Ibnul Azhar] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Isa] said, has told us [Yusuf Ibnul Majisyun] said, has told us [Muhammad Ibnul Munkadir] he said, "I met Jabir bin Abdullah when he had died, I said, "Say greetings to Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam (Degree: sahih. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1450.) 12th Hadith. God willing God bless you God willing God willing فَلَمَّا رَأَى النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ مَا بِهَا قَالَ لَهَا " لاَ تَبْتَئِسِي عَلَى حَمِيمِكِ فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ حَسَنَاتِهِ " .. Has told us [Hisyam bin Ammar] said, has told us [Al Walid bin Muslim] said, has told us [Al Auza'I] from ['Atho`] from ['Aisyah] that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam visited him, while beside him there was his brother-in-law who was dying. When the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam saw what happened to 'Aisha, he said to her: "Do not grieve over your sister-in-law, because that is part of her good deeds (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1451.) 13th Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing سَعِيدٍ، عَنِ الْمُثَنَّى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ God willing بِعَرَقِ الْجَبِينِ " .. Has told us [Bakr bin Khalaf Abu Biysr] said, has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Al Mutsanna bin Sa'id] from [Qatadah] from [Ibn Buraidah] from [his father] that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "When a believer dies his forehead sweats (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1452.) 14th Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind مَعْرِفَةُ الْعَبْدِ مِنَ النَّاسِ قَالَ " إِذَا عَايَنَ " .. Has told us [Rauh bin Al Faraj] said, has told us [Nashr bin Hammad] said, has told us [Musa bin Kardam] from [Muhammad bin Qais] from [Abu Burdah] from [Abu Musa] he said, "I asked the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, "When is the knowledge of a servant cut off from humans?" he answered: "If he sees with his eyes (sees an angel while dying) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1453.) 15th Hadith. God willing God bless you خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ قَبِيصَةَ بْنِ God willing ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَلَى أَبِي سَلَمَةَ وَقَدْ شَقَّ بَصَرُهُ فَأَغْمَضَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ " إِنَّ الرُّوحَ إِذَا قُبِضَ تَبِعَهُ الْبَصَرُ " .. Has told us [Isma'il bin Asad] said, has told us [Mu'awiyah bin Amru] said, has told us [Abu Ishaq Al Fazari] from [Khalid Al Hadzdza`] from [Abu Qilabah] from [Qabishah bin Dzu'aib] from [Ummu Salamah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam met Abu Salamah, while his eyes were open. So he closed it and said: "If the soul is taken it will be followed by the eyes (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1454.) 16th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing مَحْمُودِ بْنِ لَبِيدٍ، عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهْ مَوْتَاكُمْ فَأَغْمِضُوا الْبَصَرَ فَإِنَّ الْبَصَرَ يَتْبَعُ God willing عَلَى مَا قَالَ أَهْلُ الْبَيْتِ " .. Has told us [Abu Dawud bin Taubah] said, has told us [Ashim bin Ali] said, has told us [Qaza'ah bin Suwaid] from [Humaid Al A'raj] from [Az Zuhri] from [Mahmud bin Labid] from [Syaddad bin Aus] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If you attend those who have died from you then close their eyes, for the eyes follow the departure of the soul. And say good things, because the angels agree with what the temple experts say (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1455.) 17th Hadith. God willing مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وسلم ـ عُثْمَانَ بْنَ مَظْعُونٍ وَهُوَ مَيِّتٌ فَكَأَنِّي أَنْظُرُ إِلَى دُمُوعِهِ تَسِيلُ عَلَى خَدَّيْهِ .. It has been told to us that [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Ali bin Muhammad] both said; has told us [Waki'] from [Sufyan] from [Ashim bin Ubaidullah] from [Al Qasim bin Muhammad] from ['Aisyah] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam kissed Uthman bin Mazh'un, even though he was already a corpse. It was as if I saw his tears flowing down his two cheeks (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1456.) 18th Hadith. God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing God willing God bless you النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَهُوَ مَيِّتٌ .. It has been told to us [Ahmad bin Sinan] and [Al Abbas bin Abdul Azhim] and [Sahl bin Abu Sahl] they said; has told us [Yahya bin Sa'id] from [Sufyan] from [Musa bin Abu 'Aisyah] from [Ubaidullah] from [Ibn Abbas] and ['Aisyah] said, "Abu Bakr kissed the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam while he was already a corpse (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1457.) 19th hadith. God willing عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابْ God willing وَكَانَ فِي حَدِيثِ حَفْصَةَ " اغْسِلْنَهَا وِتْرًا " . وَكَانَ فِيهِ " اغْسِلْنَهَا ثَلاَثًا أَوْ خَمْسًا " . وَكَانَ فِيهِ " ابْدَءُوا بِمَيَامِنِهَا وَمَوَاضِعِ مِنْهَا " ." عَطِيَّةَ قَالَتْ وَامْشِطْنَهَا ثَلاَثَةَ قُرُونٍ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, has told us [Abdul Wahhab Ats Tsaqafi] from [Ayyub] from [Muhammad bin Sirin] from [Ummu Athiah] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam met us when we were bathing his daughter, Umm Kulthum. He said: "Bathe her three times, or five times, or more than that. If you bathe it with bidara water then rinse it at the end with camphor water, or something from it, and when you have finished let me know. "When we finished telling the Messenger of Allah, he then gave us his haqwah (a cloth similar to a sarong) and said: "Put it on him. "It has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] said, it has been told to us [Abdul Wahhab Ats Tsaqafi] from [Ayyub] said, it has been told to me [Hafshah] from [Ummu Athiah] as in the hadith of Muhammad. In the Hafshah hadith it is stated, "bathe him with an odd number," in the hadith it is stated, "Bathe him three times or five times," also with the lafadz, "start from the side right and ablution places. " In the hadith it is also stated that Umm Athiah said, "and we combed her hair in three ponytails (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1459.) 20th hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing لِي النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " لاَ تُبْرِزْ فَخِذَكَ وَلاَ تَنْظُرْ إِلَى فَخِذِ حَىٍّ وَلاَ مَيِّتٍ " .. Has told us [Bisyr bin Adam] said, has told us [Rauh bin Ubadah] from [Ibn Juraij] from [Habib bin Abu Thabit] from [Ashim bin Dlamrah] from [Ali] he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said to me: "Do not show your thighs, and do not look at the thighs of people who are still alive or who have died (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1460.) 21st Hadith. may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you God willing God willing لِيُغَسِّلْ مَوْتَاكُمُ الْمَأْمُونُونَ " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Al Mushaffa Al Himshi] said, has told us [Baqiyyah bin Al Walid] from [Mubasysyir bin Ubaid] from [Zaid bin Aslam] from [Abdullah bin Umar] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Those who bathe corpses should be people who can be trusted (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1461.) 22nd Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ "" God bless you وَلَمْ يُفْشِ عَلَيْهِ مَا رَأَى خَرَجَ مِنْ خَطِيئَتِهِ مِثْلَ يَوْمِ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ " .. Has told us [Ali bin Muhammad] said, has told us ['Abdurrahman Al Muharibi] said, has told us ['Abbad bin Katsir] from [Amru bin Khalid] from [Habib bin Abu Thabit] from ['Ashim bin Dlamrah] from [Ali] he said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever bathes a dead person, covers him, gives him oil, carries him and prays for him, and he does not spread what he sees, then all his sins will come out as on the day he was born by his mother (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1462.) 23rd Hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنْ هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " مَنْ غَسَّلَ مَيِّتًا فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Abdul Malik bin Abu Asy Syawarib] said, has told us [Abdul Aziz Ibnul Mukhtar] from [Suhail bin Abu Salih] from [his father] from [Abu Hurairah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever bathes a dead body, let him bathe (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1463.) 24th Hadith. God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing God willing النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ غَيْرُ نِسَائِهِ .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] said, has told us [Ahmad bin Khalid Adz Dzahabi] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Ishaq] from [Yahya bin 'Abbad bin Abdullah bin Zubair] from [his father] from ['Aisyah] he said, "If I am faced with my affairs then I will not turn away. And no one will bathe the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam apart from his wives (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1464.) 25th Hadith. God bless you God willing God bless you God willing God willing ـ مِنَ الْبَقِيعِ فَوَجَدَنِي وَأَنَا أَجِدُ صُدَاعًا فِي God bless you يَا عَائِشَةُ وَارَأْسَاهُ " . ثُمَّ قَالَ " مَا ضَرَّكِ لَوْ مِتِِ وَكَفَّنْتُكِ وَصَلَّيْتُ عَلَيْكِ وَدَفَنْتُكِ " .. Has told us [Muhammad bin Yahya] said, has told us [Ahmad bin Hanbal] said, has told us [Muhammad bin Salamah] from [Muhammad bin Ishaq] from [Ya'qub bin Utbah] from [Az Zuhri] from [Ubaidullah bin Abdullah] from ['Aisyah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) returned from Baqi' and found me with a headache, I muttered, "Duh.. my head! " He said: "O 'Aisyah, I feel it too. " then he said: "There is no danger if you die before me, I will take care of you, bathe, cover, pray and bury you (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1465.) 26th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing God willing God willing God willing وسلم ـ قَمِيصَهُ .. Has told us [Sa'id bin Yahya bin Al Azhar Al Wasithi] said, has told us [Abu Mu'awiyah] said, has told us [Abu Burdah] from [Alqamah bin Martsad] from [Ibnu Buraidah] from [his father] he said, "When they were about to bathe the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, suddenly from inside there was someone who shouted: "Don't you take off the robe of the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 1466.) 27th Hadith. God bless you God willing God willing لَمَّا غَسَّلَ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ذَهَبَ يَلْتَمِسُ مِنْهُ مَا يَلْتَمِسُ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ فَلَمْ يَجِدْهُ . فَقَالَ بِأَبِي الطَّيِّبُ طِبْتَ حَيًّا وَطِبْتَ مَيِّتًا ..
