Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind أَحَدُكُمُ الْجُمُعَةَ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ " .. It has been related to me from Malik from [Nafi'] from [Ibn Umar], that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "When one of you wants to come to Friday, let him take a bath (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 229.) 2nd hadith. Allah's blessings God willing God willing وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَقَْ .. It has been related to me from Yahya from Malik from [Abu Az Zinad] from [Al A'raj] from [Abu Hurairah], that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If you say to your brother; 'Be quiet!' 230.) 3rd Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَأَذَّنَ الْمُؤَذِّنُونَ - قَالَ ثَعْلَبَةُ - جَلَسْنَا God bless you يَخْطُبُ أَنْصَتْنَا فَلَمْ يَتَكَلَّمْ مِنَّا أَحَدٌ . قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَاب0 وَكَلاَمُهُ يَقْطَعُ الْكَلاَمَ .. It has been told to me from Malik from [Ibnu Shihab] from [Tsa'labah bin Abu Malik Al Qurazhi] he reported that they performed Friday prayers during the time of [Umar bin Khatthab] when Umar had left. If Umar had come out and sat on the pulpit, the Muaddzin would pronounce the call to prayer." Tsa'labah said, "We were still sitting chatting, if the muaddzin had been silent and Umar stood preaching, then we would have been silent and no one would have spoken." Ibn Shihab said; "The imam's exit stopped the prayer, and his sermon stopped the conversation (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 231.) 4th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، مَوْلَى عُمَرَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَبِي عَامِرٍ، God bless you God bless you يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَاسْتَمِعُوا وَأَنْصِتُوا فَإِنَّ لِلْمُنْصِتِ الَّذِي لاَ يَسْمَعُ مِنَ الْحَظِّ مِثْلَ مَا لِلْمُنْصِتِ السَّامِعِ فَإِذَا قَامَتِ الصَّلاَةُ فَاعْدِلُوا الصُّفُوفَ وَحَاذُوا بِالْمَنَاكِبِ فَإِنَّ God bless you. God bless you يُكَبِّرُ حَتَّى يَأْتِيَهُ رِجَالٌ قَدْ وَكَّلَهُمْ God willing فَيُكَبِّرُ .. It has been told to me from Malik from [Abu Nadlr] a former slave of Umar bin Ubaidullah, from [Malik bin 'Amir] that [Uthman bin Affan] once said in his sermon, and he rarely left out of his sermon; "If an imam stands up to deliver a sermon on Friday, then listen and be silent. Indeed, the person who is silent but does not listen, the reward is not the same as the person who is silent and continues to listen. If the prayer is to be upheld, then straighten the rows and bring them together shoulder to shoulder. Indeed, straight rows of the rows are part of the perfection of the prayer." Umar did not make his takbir until the people who were given the task of straightening the rows came to inform him that the rows were straight. After that he said takbir (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 232.) 5th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ God bless you يَخْطُبُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَحَصَبَهُمَا أَنِ اصْمُتَا .. It was told to me from Malik from [Nafi'], that [Abdullah bin Umar] saw two men chatting while the imam was giving his sermon on Friday. So he threw pebbles at them to keep them both quiet (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 233.) 6th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ ابْنَ شِهَابٍ عَنِ God willing God bless you لاَ بَأْسَ بِذَلِكَ .. It has been told to me from Malik that he asked [Ibn Shihab] about speaking on Friday, when the imam had come down from the pulpit before taking the takbir. Ibn Shihab answered; "That doesn't matter (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 235.) 7th Hadith. God willing كَانَ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنْ صَلاَةِ الْجُمُعَةِ رَكْعَةً فَلْيُصَلِّ إِلَيْهَا أُخْرَى . قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ وَهِيَ God willing . God God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَ الصَّلاَةَ " . قَالَ مَالِكٌ فِي الَّذِي يُصِيبُهُ زِحَامٌ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَيَرْكَعُ وَلاَ God bless you يَفْرُغَ الإِمَامُ مِنْ صَلاَتِهِ إِنَّهُ إِنْ قَدَرَ عَلَى God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing يَفْرُغَ الإِمَامُ مِنْ صَلاَتِهِ فَإِنَّهُ أَحَبُّ إِلَىَّ أَنْ يَبْتَدِئَ صَلاَتَهُ ظُهْرًا أَرْبَعًا .. Yahya has told me from Malik from [Ibn Shihab] he said; "Whoever gets one rak'ah from the Friday prayer, then complete the others." Ibn Shihab said; "That is sunnah (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 236.) 8th Hadith. God willing شِهَابٍ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ، عَزَّ وَجَلَّ {يَا أَيُّهَا God bless you God willing شِهَابٍ كَانَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ يَقْرَؤُهَا إِذَا نُودِيَ لِلصَّلاَةِ مِنْ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ فَامْضُوا إِلَى God bless you كِتَابِ اللَّهْ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى {وَإِذَا تَوَلَّى سَعَى فِي God bless you يَسْعَى وَهُوَ يَخْشَى} وَقَالَ {ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ يَسْعَى} وَقَالَ {إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّى} قَالَ مَالِكٌ فَلَيْسَ السَّعْىُ الَّذِي ذَكَرَ اللَّهُ فِي God willing وَإِنَّمَا عَنَى الْعَمَلَ وَالْفِعْلَ .. Yahya has told me from Malik he asked [Ibnu Syihab] about the words of Allah Azza Wa Jalla: '(O you who believe, when you are called to prayer on Friday then hurry to the remembrance of Allah..) "Qs. Al Jumu'ah: 9) Ibn Syihab said; "[Umar bin Al Khattahab] read it with; 'When you are called to prayer then go to the Dhikr of Allah (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 237.) 9th Hadith. Allah's blessings God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God bless you يُصَلِّي يَسْأَلُ اللَّهَ شَيْئًا إِلاَّ أَعْطَاهُ إِيَّاهُ " ." يُقَلِّلُهَا .. It has been told to me by Yahya from Malik from [Abu Az Zinad] from [Al A'raj] from [Abu Hurairah], that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam mentioned on Friday by saying: "In it there was a time, no servant muslim fulfilled it by standing in prayer asking Allah for something, but Allah would definitely give him what he asked for." Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam then made a gesture with his hand to indicate the minimum amount of time (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 238.) Yahya told me from Malik from [Yahya bin Sa'id] news had reached him, that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "What is the burden if one of you wears two clothes for Friday prayers, apart from the two clothes he wears every day (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 240.) 12th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. ادَّهَنَ وَتَطَيَّبَ إِلاَّ أَنْ يَكُونَ حَرَامًا .. It has been told to me from Malik from [Nafi'], that [Abdullah bin Umar] does not go to Friday prayers unless he has used oil and perfume first, unless the fragrance is haram (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 241.) 13th Hadith. God willing God willing كَانَ يَقُولُ لأَنْ يُصَلِّيَ أَحَدُكُمْ بِظَهْرِ الْحَرَّةِ خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَقْعُدَ حَتَّى إَِامُ يَخْطُبُ جَاءَ يَتَخَطَّى رِقَابَ النَّاسِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ . قَالَ مَالِكٌ السُّنَّةُ عِنْدَنَا أَنْ يَسْتَقْبِلَ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. يَخْطُبَ مَنْ كَانَ مِنْهُمْ يَلِي الْقِبْلَةَ وَغَيْرَهَا .. Has told me from Malik from [Abdullah bin Abu Bakr bin Hazm] from [someone who told it to him] from [Abu Hurairah] he said; "If one of you prays in the scorching heat, then it is more for him than just sitting, then when the preacher stands to preach, he on Friday comes stepping over people's shoulders." Malik said; "In our opinion, what is sunnah on Fridays is to face the imam when the imam gives his sermon, wherever they are, whether (the imam) is in the direction of the qiblah or not (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 242.) 14th Hadith. God willing God willing عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، أَنَّ الضَّحَِ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing سُورَةِ الْجُمُعَةِ قَالَ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ {هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ}. It has been told to me by Yahya from Malik from [Dlamrah bin Sa'id Al-Mazini] from [Ubaidullah bin Abdullah bin 'Utbah bin Mas'ud], that Ad Dlahhak bin Qais asked [Nu'man bin Basyir], "What did Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam read on Friday after Surah Al Jumu'ah?" he answered; "He read: "HAL ATAAKA HADITSUL GHASYIYAH (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 243.) 15th Hadith. - قَالَ مَالِكٌ لاَ أَدْرِي أَعَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَمْ لاَ - أَنَّهُ قَالَ " مَنْ تَرَكَ الْجُمُعَةَ ثَلاَثَ God willing قَلْبِهِ " .. Has told me from Malik from [Shafwan bin Sulaim], Malik said; "I don't know whether it came from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam or not? Namely the words, "Whoever misses the Friday prayer three times without excuse or reason, Allah has surely closed his heart (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 244.) Hadits ke-16. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَطَبَ خُطْبَتَيْنِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَجَلَسَ بَيْنَهُمَا .. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Ja'far bin Muhammad] dari [Bapaknya], bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam pada hari jum'at berkhutbah dengan dua khutbah, dan beliau duduk di antara keduanya (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 245.) 17th Hadith. Yahya has told me from Malik from [Ibn Shihab] from [Urwah bin Az Zubair] from [Aisyah] the wife of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, that one night the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam prayed in the mosque, and people followed him from behind. The following night, he prayed again and more and more people followed him. So on the third or fourth night, people gathered (in the mosque) while Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam did not come out. In the morning, Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "I know what you are doing, there is nothing preventing me from coming out to you, but I am afraid that it will become obligatory for you." This happened in the month of Ramadlan (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 246.) 18th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنْ هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يُرَغِّبُ فِي قِيَامِ رَمَضَانَ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَأْمُرَ God bless you وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ " . قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ فَتُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَالأَمْرُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ ثُمَّ كَانَ الأَمْرُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ God willing بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ .. It has been told to me from Malik from [Ibn Shihab] from [Abu Salamah bin Abdurrahman bin Auf] from [Abu Hurairah], Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam recommended night prayers in the month of Ramadlan with orders that are not obligatory. He said: "Whoever prays the night prayers of Ramadlan, with full faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, his past sins will be forgiven." Ibn Shihab said; "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam died and his orders were still like that. Likewise during the time of the caliph Abu Bakr and during the time of the caliph Umar bin Khatthab (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 247.) 19th hadith. Allah's blessings God willing أَنَّهُ قَالَ خَرَجْتُ مَعَ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ فِي رَمَضَانَ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدْ love God willing وَاللَّهِ إِنِّي لأَرَانِي لَوْ جَمَعْتُ هَؤُلاَءِ عَلَى قَارِئٍ وَاحِدٍ لَكَانَ أَمْثَلَ . فَجَمَعَهُمْ عَلَى أُبَىِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ - قَالَ - ثُمَّ خَرَجْتُ مَعَهُ لَيْلَةً God willing عُمَرُ نِعْمَتِ الْبِدْعَةُ هَذِهِ وَلَّتِي تَنَامُونَ God willing. God willing. God willing اللَّيْلِ وَكَانَ النَّاسُ يَقُومُونَ أَوَّلَهُ .. Has told me from Malik from [Ibnu Shihab] from [Urwah bin Az Zubair] from [Abdurrahman bin Abdul Al-Qari] he said; "I went out with Umar bin Khattab to the mosque in the month of Ramadlan. It turned out that the people were scattered into several groups. There were those who prayed alone, there were also those who prayed with the congregation. [Umar] said, "By Allah, in fact I think, if I gathered them together with one Qari', it would be more important." Finally Umar ordered them to pray with Ubay bin Ka'b (as imam). Abdurrahman said; "I went out with Umar bin Khattab On another day, people were praying with their Qari'. Umar said; "The best bid'ah is this. The time you spend sleeping in it (meaning the end of the night) is better than the time you spend praying (now). At that time people prayed at the beginning of the night (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 248.) 20th hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ، عَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنْ God willing يَقُومَا، لِلنَّاسِ بِإِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً قَالَ وَقَدْ كَانَ الْقَارِئُ يَقْرَأُ بِالْمِئِينَ حَتَّى كُنَّا نَعْتَمِدُ عَم نَنْصَرِفُ إِلاَّ فِي فُرُوعِ الْفَجْرِ .. Having told me from Malik from [Muhammad bin Yusuf] from [As-Sa`ib bin Yazid] he said, "[Umar bin Khatthab] ordered Ubay bin Ka'ab and Tamim Ad Dari to lead the people, with eleven rak'ahs." As Sa`ib said; "The Imam read two hundred verses, until we leaned on sticks because we had been standing for so long. And we didn't come out until just before dawn (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 249.) 21st Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ رُومَانَ، God bless you God bless you .. Having told me from Malik from [Yazid bin Ruman] he said; "The Companions during the time of Umar bin Khatthab performed the night prayer twenty-three rak'ahs (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 250.) 22nd Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ، God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing وَكَانَ الْقَارِئُ يَقْرَأُ سُورَةَ الْبَقَرَةِ فِي ثَمَانِ God bless you رَأَى النَّاسُ أَنَّهُ قَدْ خَفَّفَ .. Has told me from Malik from [Daud bin Al Hushain] that he heard [Al A'raj] say; "I don't find people except that they curse the infidels in the month of Ramadan." Al A'raj said; "The imam read Surah Al Baqarah in eight rak'ahs. If the imam read it for twelve rak'ahs, then people would say that the imam had lightened the reading (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 251.) 23rd Hadith. God willing God bless you Allah's blessings الْفَجْرِ .. Has told me from Malik from [Abdullah bin Abu Bakr] said, I heard [my father] say; "In the month of Ramadlan we go out (after prayer) immediately prepare food because we are afraid of the coming of dawn (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 252.) 24th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ Allah's blessings لِعَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ or love لَهَا فِي رَمَضَانَ .. It has been told to me from Malik from [Hisyam bin Urwah] from [his father] that Dzakwan Abu 'Amru was once a slave to Aisyah, the wife of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. Then ['Aisha] promised him freedom when he died. Dzakwan then read the Koran to 'Aisyah in the month of Ramadlan (Degree: sahih. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 253.) 25th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you God bless you صَدَقَةً " .. Yahya has told me from Malik from [Muhammad bin Al-Munkadir] from [Sa'id bin Jubair] from [a man who was blessed] he informed him, that [Aisyah] the wife of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam had informed him, that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "There is no servant who intends to pray at night and then falls asleep, unless Allah will write down for him the reward The night prayer. As for his sleep, it is something that Allah gave him in charity (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 254.) 26th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، مَوْلَى God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God willing فِيهَا مَصَابِيحُ .. Has told me from Malik from [Abu Nadlar] the slave of Umar bin Ubaidullah, from [Abu Salamah bin Abdurrahman] from [Aisyah] the wife of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said; "I slept in front of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and my feet were in the direction of his Qibla. When he prostrated, he held my legs, then I bent them until when he stood up I spread them out again." Aisha said; "At that time, the houses still had no lights (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 255.) 27th Hadith. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing النَّوْمُ فَإِم يَدْرِي لَعَلَّهُ يَذْهَبُ يَسْتَغْفِرُ فَيَسُبُِ " .. It has been told to me from Malik from [Hisyam bin Urwah] from [his father] from [Aisyah] the wife of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "If one of you is sleepy during his prayer, let him sleep until his sleepiness disappears. Because if one of you prays while he is sleepy, he does not know, perhaps he is asking for forgiveness but instead he reproaches himself (Degree: authentic. Source: Muwatta Malik no. 256.) Hadits ke-28. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي حَكِيمٍ، أَنَّهُ بَلَغَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم سَمِعَ امْرَأَةً مِنَ اللَّيْلِ تُصَلِّي فَقَالَ " مَنْ هَذِهِ " . فَقِيلَ لَهُ هَذِهِ الْحَوْلاَءُ بِنْتُ تُوَيْتٍ لاَ تَنَامُ اللَّيْلَ . فَكَرِهَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَتَّى عُرِفَتِ الْكَرَاهِيَةُ فِي وَجْهِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ " إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى لاَ يَمَلُّ حَتَّى تَمَلُّوا اكْلَفُوا مِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا لَكُمْ بِهِ طَاقَةٌ " .. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Isma'il bin Abu Hakim] telah sampai kepadanya, bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam mendengar seorang wanita yang shalat pada malam hari. Beliau bertanya; "Siapa ini?" Ada yang menjawab; "Dia adalah Haula binti Tuwait. Dia tidak tidur pada malam hari." Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam pun membenci pebuatan tersebut hingga terlihat tanda kebencian pada wajahnya. Beliau bersabda: "Allah Tabaraka Wa Ta'ala tiada akan jenuh hingga kalian sendiri yang merasa jenuh, maka kerjakan amalan yang kalian mampu (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 257.) Hadits ke-29. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، كَانَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ حَتَّى إِذَا كَانَ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ أَيْقَظَ أَهْلَهُ لِلصَّلاَةِ يَقُولُ لَهُمُ الصَّلاَةَ الصَّلاَةَ ثُمَّ يَتْلُو هَذِهِ الآيَةَ {وَأْمُرْ أَهْلَكَ بِالصَّلاَةِ وَاصْطَبِرْ عَلَيْهَا لاَ نَسْأَلُكَ رِزْقًا نَحْنُ نَرْزُقُكَ وَالْعَاقِبَةُ لِلتَّقْوَى}. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Zaid bin Aslam] dari [Bapaknya] bahwa [Umar bin Khatthab] shalat malam dalam jumlah yang banyak, hingga ketika menjelang akhir malam dia membangunkan keluarganya untuk shalat. Dia berkata kepada mereka; "ASHSHALAAH ASHSHALAAH (shalatlah kalian, shalatlah kalian) ." Setelah itu ia membaca ayat; '(Dan perintahkanlah kepada keluargamu mendirikan shalat dan Bersabarlah kamu dalam mengerjakannya. Kami tidak meminta rezki kepadamu, kamilah yang memberi rezki kepadamu. dan akibat (yang baik) itu adalah bagi orang yang bertakwa) ' (Qs. Thaahaa:) (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 258.) Hadits ke-30. حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم . أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يُصَلِّي مِنَ اللَّيْلِ إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً يُوتِرُ مِنْهَا بِوَاحِدَةٍ فَإِذَا فَرَغَ اضْطَجَعَ عَلَى شِقِّهِ الأَيْمَنِ .. Telah menceritakan kepadaku Yahya dari Malik dari [Ibnu Syihab] dari [Urwah bin Az Zubair] dari [Aisyah] isteri Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, bahwa Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam shalat malam sebelas rakaat, dengan witir satu rakaat. Ketika selesai, beliau berbaring miring ke kanan (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 261.) Hadits ke-31. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَيْفَ كَانَتْ صَلاَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَتْ مَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَزِيدُ فِي رَمَضَانَ وَلاَ فِي غَيْرِهِ عَلَى إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً يُصَلِّي أَرْبَعًا فَلاَ تَسْأَلْ عَنْ حُسْنِهِنَّ وَطُولِهِنَّ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي أَرْبَعًا فَلاَ تَسْأَلْ عَنْ حُسْنِهِنَّ وَطُولِهِنَّ ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي ثَلاَثًا فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَتَنَامُ قَبْلَ أَنْ تُوتِرَ فَقَالَ " يَا عَائِشَةُ إِنَّ عَيْنَىَّ تَنَامَانِ وَلاَ يَنَامُ قَلْبِي " .. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Sa'id bin Abu Sa'id Al Maqburi] dari [Abu Salamah bin Abdurrahman bin Auf] dia bertanya kepada [Aisyah] isteri Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, 'Bagaimana shalat Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam di bulan Ramadlan? ' Aisyah lantas menjawab, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam tidak melakukan shalat lebih dari sebelas rakaat, baik pada bulan Ramadlan maupun lainnya. Beliau shalat empat rakaat, jangan kamu tanya bagus dan panjangnya. Beliau shalat empat rakaat, jangan kamu tanya bagus dan panjangnya. Setelah itu beliau shalat tiga rakaat." Aisyah meneruskan ucapannya, "Aku lalu bertanya, 'Wahai Rasulullah, apakah anda tidur sebelum berwitir? ' beliau menjawab: "Wahai Aisyah, sesungguhnya kedua mataku tidur tapi hatiku tidak (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 262.) Hadits ke-32. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُصَلِّي بِاللَّيْلِ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً ثُمَّ يُصَلِّي إِذَا سَمِعَ النِّدَاءَ بِالصُّبْحِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ .. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Hisyam bin Urwah] dari [Bapaknya] dari [Aisyah] Ummul Mukminin berkata, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam mengerjakan shalat malam tiga belas rakaat. Kemudian beliau shalat dua rakaat setelah mendengar adzan subuh (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 263.) Hadits ke-33. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ مَخْرَمَةَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ، مَوْلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبَّاسٍ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ، بَاتَ لَيْلَةً عِنْدَ مَيْمُونَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم - وَهِيَ خَالَتُهُ - قَالَ فَاضْطَجَعْتُ فِي عَرْضِ الْوِسَادَةِ وَاضْطَجَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَهْلُهُ فِي طُولِهَا فَنَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم حَتَّى إِذَا انْتَصَفَ اللَّيْلُ - أَوْ قَبْلَهُ بِقَلِيلٍ أَوْ بَعْدَهُ بِقَلِيلٍ - اسْتَيْقَظَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَجَلَسَ يَمْسَحُ النَّوْمَ عَنْ وَجْهِهِ بِيَدِهِ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ الْعَشْرَ الآيَاتِ الْخَوَاتِمَ مِنْ سُورَةِ آلِ عِمْرَانَ ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى شَنٍّ مُعَلَّقٍ فَتَوَضَّأَ مِنْهُ فَأَحْسَنَ وُضُوءَهُ ثُمَّ قَامَ يُصَلِّي - قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ - فَقُمْتُ فَصَنَعْتُ مِثْلَ مَا صَنَعَ ثُمَّ ذَهَبْتُ فَقُمْتُ إِلَى جَنْبِهِ فَوَضَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَدَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى رَأْسِي وَأَخَذَ بِأُذُنِي الْيُمْنَى يَفْتِلُهَا فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ أَوْتَرَ ثُمَّ اضْطَجَعَ حَتَّى أَتَاهُ الْمُؤَذِّنُ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَصَلَّى الصُّبْحَ .. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Mahramah bin Sulaiman] dari [Kuraib] budak Ibnu 'Abbas, bahwa [Abdullah bin Abbas] mengabarkan kepadanya, bahwa ia pernah bermalam di tempat Maimunah, isteri Nabi shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam, yaitu bibi dari pihak ibunya. Abdullah bin Abbas berkata; "Saya berbaring di atas bantal pada bagian sisinya, sedangkan Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam dan isterinya berbaring pada bagian sisi panjangnya. Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam tidur hingga ketika sampai pertengahan malam, atau kurang sedikit, atau lewat sedikit, beliau bangun. Beliau kemudian duduk sambil mengusap rasa kantuk dari wajah dengan tangan. Dan beliau membaca sepuluh ayat terakhir dari surat Ali Imran, lalu berdiri menuju geriba yang tergantung. Beliau berwudlu dengan menyempurnakan wudlunya, setelahitu berdiri shalat. Ibnu Abbas berkata, "Kemudian aku bangun dan melakukan sebagaimana yang dilakukan oleh beliau, lalu aku pergi dan shalat di sisinya. Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam lalu meletakkan tangan kanannya di atas kepalaku seraya memegang telinga kananku dan menariknya (memalingkan) . Beliau lalu shalat dua rakaat, dua rakaat, dua rakaat, dua rakaat, dua rakaat, dan dua rakaat. Kemudian beliau shalat witir. Setelah itu beliau berbaring hingga muaddzin datang kepadanya. Beliau shalat ringan dua rakaat kemudian keluar shalat subuh (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 264.) Hadits ke-34. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ قَيْسِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لأَرْمُقَنَّ اللَّيْلَةَ صَلاَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم - قَالَ - فَتَوَسَّدْتُ عَتَبَتَهُ - أَوْ فُسْطَاطَهُ - فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ طَوِيلَتَيْنِ طَوِيلَتَيْنِ طَوِيلَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُمَا دُونَ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَهُمَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُمَا دُونَ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَهُمَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُمَا دُونَ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَهُمَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُمَا دُونَ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَهُمَا ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَهُمَا دُونَ اللَّتَيْنِ قَبْلَهُمَا ثُمَّ أَوْتَرَ فَتِلْكَ ثَلاَثَ عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً .. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Abdullah bin Abu Bakar] dari [Bapaknya] bahwa [Abdullah bin Qais bin Makhramah] mengabarkan kepadanya, dari [Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani] dia berkata, "Saya akan menyelidiki shalat Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam pada malam ini." Zaid bin Khalid Al-Juhani berkata, "Aku lalu tidur di kemah beliau, atau pintunya. Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam kemudian berdiri dan shalat dua rakaat panjang, dua rakaat panjang, dua rakaat panjang. Kemudian beliau shalat dua rakaat yang lebih ringan dari dua rakaat sebelumnya. Beliau shalat dua rakaat yang lebih ringan lagi dari dua rakaat sebelumnya. Beliau shalat dua rakaat yang lebih ringan lagi dari dua rakaat sebelumnya. Lalu beliau shalat dua rakaat yang lebih ringan dari dua rakaat sebelumnya. Kemudian beliau shalat witir, maka genaplah menjadi tiga belas rakaat (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 265.) Hadits ke-35. حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ صَلاَةِ اللَّيْلِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " صَلاَةُ اللَّيْلِ مَثْنَى مَثْنَى فَإِذَا خَشِيَ أَحَدُكُمُ الصُّبْحَ صَلَّى رَكْعَةً وَاحِدَةً تُوتِرُ لَهُ مَا قَدْ صَلَّى " .. Telah menceritakan kepadaku Yahya dari Malik dari [Nafi'] dan [Abdullah bin Dinar] dari [Abdullah bin Umar], bahwa ada seorang laki-laki bertanya Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam tentang shalat malam? Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam menjawab: "Shalat malam dikerjakan dua rakaat, dua rakaat. Jika salah seorang dari kalian khawatir subuh tiba, shalatlah satu rakaat sebagai witir untuk shalat sebelumnya (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 266.) Hadits ke-36. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مُحَيْرِيزٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، مِنْ بَنِي كِنَانَةَ يُدْعَى الْمُخْدَجِيَّ سَمِعَ رَجُلاً، بِالشَّامِ يُكَنَّى أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الْوِتْرَ وَاجِبٌ . فَقَالَ الْمُخْدَجِيُّ فَرُحْتُ إِلَى عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ فَاعْتَرَضْتُ لَهُ وَهُوَ رَائِحٌ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِالَّذِي قَالَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ فَقَالَ عُبَادَةُ كَذَبَ أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " خَمْسُ صَلَوَاتٍ كَتَبَهُنَّ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَى الْعِبَادِ فَمَنْ جَاءَ بِهِنَّ لَمْ يُضَيِّعْ مِنْهُنَّ شَيْئًا اسْتِخْفَافًا بِحَقِّهِنَّ كَانَ لَهُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَهْدٌ أَنْ يُدْخِلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَنْ لَمْ يَأْتِ بِهِنَّ فَلَيْسَ لَهُ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ عَهْدٌ إِنْ شَاءَ عَذَّبَهُ وَإِنْ شَاءَ أَدْخَلَهُ الْجَنَّةَ " .. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Yahya bin Sa'id] dari [Muhammad bin Yahya bin Habban] dari [Ibnu Muhairiz], bahwa ada seorang laki-laki Bani Kinanah yang bernama [Al-Mukhdaji], mendengar seorang laki-laki yang diberi julukan Abu Muhammad berkata di wilayah Syam, "Witir itu wajib." Al-Mukhdaji berkata; "Aku kemudian menemui Ubadah bin Shamit, aku mencegatnya saat ia berangkat ke masjid. Aku lalu kabarkan kepadanya dengan apa yang dikatakan oleh Abu Muhammad. [Ubadah] pun berkata, "Abu Muhammad telah berdusta. Aku mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam bersabda: "Lima shalat Allah Azza Wa Jalla telah mewajibkannya kepada-Nya. Barangsiapa melaksanakan dan tidak meninggalkan satupun darinya karena meremehkan kewajiban, niscaya baginya janji Allah untuk memasukkannya ke surga. Barangsiapa tidak melakukannya, niscaya dia tidak mendapatkan janji Allah (untuk memasukkannya ke surga) . Jika berkehendak Allah akan menyiksanya, dan jika berkehendak maka Allah akan memasukkannya ke dalam surga (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 267.) Hadits ke-37. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، قَالَ كُنْتُ أَسِيرُ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بِطَرِيقِ مَكَّةَ - قَالَ سَعِيدٌ - فَلَمَّا خَشِيتُ الصُّبْحَ نَزَلْتُ فَأَوْتَرْتُ ثُمَّ أَدْرَكْتُهُ فَقَالَ لِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ أَيْنَ كُنْتَ فَقُلْتُ لَهُ خَشِيتُ الصُّبْحَ فَنَزَلْتُ فَأَوْتَرْتُ . فَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَلَيْسَ لَكَ فِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ . فَقُلْتُ بَلَى وَاللَّهِ . فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم كَانَ يُوتِرُ عَلَى الْبَعِيرِ .. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Abu Bakar bin Muhammad bin Umar] dari [Sa'id bin Yasar] berkata, "Saya berjalan bersama Abdullah bin 'Umar di sebuah jalan Makkah." Sa'id berkata, "Saya khawatir subuh akan segera tiba, maka saya pun berhenti untuk melaksanakan shalat witir, hingga saya masih mendapatkannya shalat witir tersebut. Abdullah bin Umar bertanya, "Dari mana kamu?" saya menjawab, "Saya khawatir masuk subuh, maka saya singgah untuk shalat witir." [Abdullah] berkata; "Bukankah sudah ada bagimu contoh dari Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam?" saya menjawab; "Ya, demi Allah." Dia berkata; "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam shalat witir di atas untanya (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 268.) Hadits ke-38. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ كَانَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقُ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْتِيَ، فِرَاشَهُ أَوْتَرَ وَكَانَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ يُوتِرُ آخِرَ اللَّيْلِ قَالَ سَعِيدُ بْنُ الْمُسَيَّبِ فَأَمَّا أَنَا فَإِذَا جِئْتُ فِرَاشِي أَوْتَرْتُ .. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Yahya bin Sa'id] dari [Sa'id bin Musayyab] dia berkata; "Jika [Abu Bakar Ash Shidiq] hendak mendatangi ranjangnya, dia shalat witir, sedangkan [Umar bin Khatthab] melaksanakan shalat witir di akhir malam." Sa'id bin Musayyab berkata; "Jika saya hendak tidur, saya shalat witir terlebih dahulu (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 269.) Hadits ke-39. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ كُنْتُ مَعَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بِمَكَّةَ وَالسَّمَاءُ مُغِيمَةٌ فَخَشِيَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ الصُّبْحَ فَأَوْتَرَ بِوَاحِدَةٍ ثُمَّ انْكَشَفَ الْغَيْمُ فَرَأَى أَنَّ عَلَيْهِ لَيْلاً فَشَفَعَ بِوَاحِدَةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَلَمَّا خَشِيَ الصُّبْحَ أَوْتَرَ بِوَاحِدَةٍ .. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Nafi'] dia berkata, "Saya bersama [Abdullah bin Umar] di Makkah, sementara saat itu langit terlihat mendung. Abdullah khawatir jika waktu subuh segera datang, sehingga ia shalat witir satu rakaat. Namun setelah itu mendung tersingkap dan Abdullah melihat ternyata masih malam. Maka ia pun menggenapkannya dengan satu rakaat lagi, setelah itu ia shalat dua rakaat, dua rakaat. Dan ketika ia khawatir waktu subuh akan segera datang, ia mengerjakan shalat witir satu rakaat (Derajat: shahih. Sumber: Muwatta Malik no. 272.) Hadits ke-40. وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ، كَانَ يُسَلِّمُ بَيْنَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ وَالرَّكْعَةِ فِي الْوِتْرِ حَتَّى يَأْمُرَ بِبَعْضِ حَاجَتِهِ .. Telah menceritakan kepadaku dari Malik dari [Nafi'] bahwa [Abdullah bin Umar] ketika shalat witir, ia membaca salam setelah dua rakaat dan satu rakaat.
