Rasulullah Sallalahu 'Alaihi Wasallam asked: "What day is it?" They answered; "Allah and His Messenger know better." Then he was silent, we thought he wanted to use another name, he asked: "Isn't this the day of Nahr (sacrificial animal slaughter)?" We said; "Yes, right." Then he asked again: "What month is this?" They answered; "Allah and His Messenger know better." Then he was silent, until we thought he was going to use another name, he then said: "Isn't this the month of Dhul Hijjah?" We answered; "Yes, right." And he asked again: "What country is this?" They answered; "Allah and His Messenger know better." Then he was silent until we thought he was going to say another name. Then he said: "Isn't this (haram) land?" We answered; "yes." He continued: "Indeed, your blood, your wealth, - and I think he said; your honor - is haram, just as it is haram today, in your month and in your land, you will meet your Rabb and He will ask about your deeds, therefore, know... do not go astray after my death, by fighting among yourselves. Know, have I not conveyed it? And let those who are present convey it to those who are not present among you? And hopefully those who convey it will pay more attention than those who only hear it."
