Welcome to the study of authentic hadith selected by ULYAH. Let's look at some of the following sayings of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam, one by one, with an open heart to put them into practice. 1st Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing قَالَ " الإِسْبَالُ فِي الإِزَارِ وَالْقَمِيصِ وَالْعِمَامَةِ مَنْ جَرَّ شَيْئًا خُيَلاَءَ لَمْ يَنْظُرِ God willing, God willing " . قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ مَا أَغْرَبَهُ .. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Al Husain bin Ali] from [Ibn Abu Rawwad] from [Salim] from [his father] from the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, he said: "Isbal is also found in sarongs (pants), clothes (gamis) and turbans. Whoever extends something (like that) arrogantly, surely Allah will not look at him on the Day of Resurrection later." Abu Bakr said; "Husain bin Ali did not consider the above hadith foreign (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3576.) 2nd hadith. God bless you God willing God bless you God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings وَالطُّولِ .. Has told us [Ahmad bin Uthman bin Hakim Al Audi] has told us [Abu Ghassan] and has told us [Abu Kuraib] has told us ['Ubaid bin Muhammad] both said; has told us [Al Hasan bin Salih]. (in another narration mentioned) Has told us [Sufyan bin Waki'] has told us [My father] from [Al Hasan bin Salih] from [Muslim] from [Mujahid] from [Ibn Abbas] he said, "Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam always wore a robe with both short and long sleeves (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3577.) 3rd Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God bless you God willing وَإِنَّ زِرَّ قَمِيصِهِ لَمُطْلَقٌ . قَالَ عُرْوَةُ فَمَا God bless him إِلاَّ مُطْلَقَةً أَزْرَارُهُمَا .. Has told us [Abu Bakr] has told us [Ibnu Dukain] from [Zuhair] from ['Urwah bin Abdullah bin Qusyair] has told me [Mu'awiyah bin Qurrah] from [his father] he said, "I met the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and swore allegiance to him, and indeed the buttons on his robe were open." 'Urwah said, "I never saw Mu'awiyah or his son either in winter or summer unless the buttons on his clothes were open (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3578.) 4th Hadith. God willing مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا God bless you God willing حَرْبٍ، عَنْ سُوَيْدِ بْنَ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَسَاوَمَنَا سَرَاوِيلَ .. It has been told to us that [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] and [Ali bin Muhammad] both said; has told us [Waki']. (in another narration it is stated) Has told us [Muhammad bin Basysyar] has told us [Yahya] and [Abdurrahman] they said; has told us [Sufyan] from [Simak bin Harb] from [Suwaid bin Qais] he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam met us and offered us trousers (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3579.) 5th Hadith. God willing God willing God bless you سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَمْ تَجُرُّ الْمَرْأَةُ مِنْ ذَيْلِهَا قَالَ " شِبْرًا " ." God willing. God willing. God willing عَلَيْهِ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr] has told us [Al Mu'tamir bin Sulaiman] from ['Ubaidillah bin Umar] from [Nafi'] from [Sulaiman bin Yasar] from [Ummu Salamah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam was asked, "How much should a woman lengthen her clothes?" he replied: "One inch." I said, "If so, then it is still possible for it to be exposed." So he said: "(Exaggerate) one cubit, and not more than that (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3580.) 6th Hadith. God willing مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ الْعَمِّيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي God willing God bless you God willing بِالْقَصَبِ ذِرَاعًا .. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr] has told us [Abdurrahman bin Mahdi] from [Sufyan] from [Zaid Al 'Ammi] from [Abu Ash Shiddiq An Naji] from [Ibn Umar], that the wives of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam were given leniency to increase the lower cloth of their clothes (robes) by one cubit. When they came to us, we measured it with wood and found it was a cubit long (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3581.) 7th Hadith. God willing يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ God bless you God willing سَلَمَةَ " ذَيْلُكِ ذِرَاعٌ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Yazid bin Harun] has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] from [Abu Al Muhazzim] from [Abu Hurairah], that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said to Fatimah and Umm Salamah: "The length of your lower cloth is one cubit (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3582.) 8th Hadith. God willing God willing God bless you God willing فِي ذُيُولِ النِّسَاءِ " شِبْرًا " . فَقَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ إِذًا تَخْرُجَ سُوقُهُنَّ ." " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us ['Affan] has told us [Abdul Warits] has told us [Habib Al Mu'allim] from [Abu Al Muhazzim] from [Abu Hurairah] from [Aisyah], that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said regarding the lower cloth (robe) of women, which is one inch longer." Aisyah said, "I said, "Then their calves are still visible!" He said: "If that is the case, add one cubit (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3583.) 9th Hadith. God willing God willing عَمْرِو بْنْ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَخْطُبُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ .. Has told us [Hisyam bin 'Ammar] has told us [Sufyan bin 'Uyaianh] from [Musawir Al Warraq] from [Ja'far bin 'Amru bin Huraits] from [His father] he said, "I saw the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam khutbah at the minbar wearing a black turban (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3584.) 10th Hadith. God willing God bless you God willing وسلم ـ دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Waki'] has told us [Hammad bin Salamah] from [Abu Az Zubair] from [Jabir], that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam entered the city of Makkah wearing a black turban (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3585.) 11th Hadith. God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنْ God willing وَعَلَيْهِ عِمَامَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ .. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us ['Ubaidullah] has told us [Musa bin 'Ubaidah] from [Abdullah bin Dinar] from [Ibn Umar], that during the conquest of the city of Mecca, Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam entered the city wearing a black imamah (turban) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3586.) 12th Hadith. Allah's blessings God bless you God willing God willing سَوْدَاءُ قَدْ أَرْخَى طَرَفَيْهَا بَيْنَ كَتِفَيْهِ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Abu Usamah] from [Musawir] has told me [Ja'far bin 'Amru bin Huraits] from [his father] he said, "As if I saw the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam wearing a black turban with both ends hanging down between his two shoulders (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3587.) 13th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God bless you الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلْبَسْهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Isma'il bin 'Ulayyah] from [Abdul Aziz bin Shuhaib] from [Anas bin Malik] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Whoever wears silk cloth in this world, he will not wear it in the Hereafter (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3588.) 14th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَِ عَنِ الدِّيبَاجِ وَالْحَرِيرِ وَالإِسْتَبْرَقِ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Ali bin Mushir] from [Ash Syaibani] from [Ash'ath bin Abu Asy Sya'tsa`] from [Mu'awiyah bin Suwaid] from [Al Barra`] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade wearing dibaj (cloth embroidered with silk), pure silk cloth and istabraq (thick clothing mixed with silk) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3589.) 15th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing وَالذَّهَبِ وَقَالَ " هُوَ لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَنَا فِي الآخِرَةِ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Waki'] from [Syu'bah] from [Al Hakam] from [Abdurrahman bin Abu Laila] from [Hudzaifah] he said, "The Messenger of Allah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade wearing silk cloth and gold, he said: "That is for them in this world and for us in the Hereafter (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3590.) 16th Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing God bless you . فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " يَلْبَسُ هَذَا مَنْ لاَ خَلاَقَ لَهُ فِي الآخِرَةِ " .. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Abdurrahim bin Sulaiman] from [Ubaidullah bin Umar] from [Nafi'] that [Abdullah bin Umar] has told him, that Umar bin Al Khaththab saw clothes made of pure silk, he then said, "O Messenger of Allah, if only you wore these clothes to receive the messenger and when it was Friday." So Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Only those who wear this cloth are people who will not get good in the Hereafter (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3591.) 17th Hadith. God willing God bless you God bless you نَبَّأَهُمْ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ رَخَّصَ لِلزُّبَيْرِ بْنَ God willing بِهِمَا حِكَّةٍ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Muhammad bin Bisyr] has told us [Sa'id bin Abu 'Arubah] from [Qatadah] from [Anas bin Malik] has told them, that the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam gave relief to Zubair bin 'Awwam and Abdurrahman bin 'Auf to wear silk cloth because both of them were suffering from itching (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3592.) 18th Hadith. God willing حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ، عَنْ may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind God willing God willing كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَنْهَانَا عَنْهُ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Hafsh bin Ghiyats] from ['Ashim] from [Abu 'Uthman] from [Umar], that he forbade wearing clothes made of pure silk or dibaj (a mixture of silk), unless he was like this." Then he gestured with his finger, then a second, then a third, then a fourth time, saying, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade us to wear it (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3593.) 19th hadith. God willing وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عُمَرَ، God bless you God willing God bless you God willing اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ .” مَكْفُوفَةِ الْكُمَّيْنِ وَالْجَيْبِ وَالْفَرْجَيْنِ بِالدِّيبَاجِ .. Has told us [Abu Bakar bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Waki'] from [Mughirah bin Ziyad] from [Abu Umar] Asma's former slave, he said, "I saw Ibn Umar buying a turban with a picture on it, then he asked for scissors and cut it out. After that I met Asma and I told him about it, [Asma] then said, "It's really bad what Abdullah has done! O maid, take the robe of Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam." Then the maid came with a robe with sleeves and pockets and both sides with stripes made of dibaj (silk mixture) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3594.) 20th hadith. God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings بِيَمِينِهِ ثُمَّ رَفَعَ بِهِمَا يَدَيْهِ فَقَالَ "" هَذَيْنِ حَرَامٌ عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي حِلٌّ لإِنَاثِهِمْ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr] has told us [Abdurrahim bin Sulaiman] from [Muhammad bin Ishaq] from [Yazid bin Abu Habib] from [Abdul Aziz bi Abu As Sha'bah] from [Abu Al Aflah Al Hamdani] from [Abdullah bin Zurair Al Ghafiqi] I heard [Ali bin Abu Talib] say, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) took the silk with his hand with his left hand and gold with his right hand, then he raised both hands while saying: "Indeed these two things are haram for the men of my Ummah and halal for the women (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3595.) 21st Hadith. God willing God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing. God willing يَرِيمَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، أَنَّهُ أُهْدِيَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings Allah's blessings فَأَتَيْتُهَ God bless you الْفَوَاطِمِ " .. It has been told to us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Abdurrahim bin Sulaiman] from [Yazid bin Abu Ziyad] from [Abu Fakhitah] has told me [Hubairah bin Yarim] from [Ali], that clothes made of silk have been gifted to the Messenger of Allah, sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, namely those whose length or width is embroidered with silk. Then he sent it back to me, and I went to him and said, "O Messenger of Allah, what should I do with it? Can I wear it?" He answered: "No, but make a veil for the Fatima (Degree: Sahih. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3596.) 22nd Hadith. God willing God willing God willing God willing يَدَيْهِ ثَوْبٌ مِنْ حَرِيرٍ وَفِي الأُخْرَى ذَهَبٌ فَقَالَ " إِنَّ هَذَيْنِ مُحَرَّمٌ عَلَى ذُكُورِ أُمَّتِي حِلٌّ لإِنَاثِهِمْ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Abdurrahim bin Sulaiman] from [Al Ifriqi] from [Abdurrahman bin Rafi'] from [Abdullah bin 'Amru] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam met us, one hand holding silk and the other hand holding gold, then he said: "Indeed these two things are forbidden for the men of my Ummah and in halal for women (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3597.) 23rd Hadith. God willing مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ عَلَى God willing حَرِيرٍ سِيَرَاءَ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr] has told us [Isa bin Yunus] from [Ma'mar] from [Az Zuhri] from [Anas] he said, "I saw Zainab bint Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam wearing a striped silk robe (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3598.) 24th Hadith. God willing عَبْدِ اللَّهْ God willing صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ مُتَرَجِّلاً فِي حُلَّةٍ حَمْرَاءَ .. Having told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] from [Syarik bin Abdullah Al Qadli] from [Abu Ishaq] from [Al Barra] he said, "I have never seen anything more beautiful than the figure of Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wasallam except when he walked wearing red clothes (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3599.) 25th Hadith. God willing بَرَّادِ بْنّ God willing may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings God bless you may Allah bless him and give him peace of mind حَسَنٌ وَحُسَيْنٌ عَم God bless you "" God willing {إِنَّمَا أَمْوَالُكُمْ وَأَوْلاَدُكُمْ فِتْنَةٌ} رَأَيْتُ هَذَيْنِ فَلَمْ أَصْبِرْ " . ثُمَّ أَخَذَ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ .. Having told us [Abu 'Amir Abdullah bin 'Amir bin Barrad bin Yusuf bin Abu Burdah bin Abu Musa Al Asy'ari] he said; has told us [Zaid bin Hubab] has told us [Husain bin Waqid Qadli Marwa] has told me [Abdullah bin Buraidah] that [his father] has told him, he said, "I saw Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam giving a sermon, then Hasan and Husain 'alaihima greetings approached him wearing red clothes and both of them stood up. The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam then took them both and put them on lap, he then said: "Glorified are Allah and His Messenger; 'Indeed, your wealth and your children are only a trial (for you)...' (QS. At Taghabun; 15), I saw these two children and I could not restrain myself (from hugging them)." Then he continued his sermon (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3600.) 26th Hadith. God willing God willing God willing God willing قَالَ يَزِيدُ قُلْتُ لِلْحَسَنِ مَا الْمُفَدَّمُ قَالَ الْمُشْبَعُ بِالْعُصْفُرِ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Ali bin Mushir] from [Yazid bin Abu Ziyad] from [Al Hasan bin Suhail] from [Ibn Umar] he said, "Rasulullah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam forbade Al Mufaddam." Yazid said, "I asked Al Hasan, "What is al Mufaddam?" He answered: "(Clothes) dyed with the 'ushfur tree (a type of dye plant) (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3601.) 27th Hadith. God willing وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ God willing God knows what God is saying لُبْسِ الْمُعَصْفَرِ .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Waki'] from [Usamah bin Zaid] from [Abdullah bin Hunain] he said; I heard [Ali] say, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade me, and I did not say that he forbade you from wearing dyed (colored) clothes (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3602.) 28th Hadith. God willing هِشَامِ بْنِ الْغَازِ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ God willing ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ مِنْ ثَنِيَّةِ أَذَاخِرَ فَالْتَفَتَ God willing " مَا هَذِهِ " . فَعَرَفْتُ مَا كَرِهَ فَأَتَيْتُ God bless you God bless you مَا فَعَلَتِ الرَّيْطَةُ " . فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ فَقَالَ " God bless you بِذَلِكَ لِلنِّسَاءِ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr] has told us [Isa bin Yunus] from [Hisyam bin Al Ghaz] from ['Amru bin Syu'aib] from [his father] from [his grandfather] he said, "We met the Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam when he was in Tsaniyah Adzakhir, and he turned to me while I was wearing clothes dyed with the 'ushfur tree, so he said: 'Is ', I also said that he didn't like it. Then I met my family when they were lighting the fire, then I told him that I had burned it, so he said: "Why don't you give it to your wife?" Because there is nothing wrong with a coat like that if worn by women (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3603.) 29th Hadith. God bless you God bless you God bless you قَالَ أَتَانَا النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَم لَهُ مَاءً يَتَبَرَّدُ بِهِ فَاغْتَسَلَ ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُهُ God willing, God willing, God willing, God willing عُكَنِهِ .. Has told us [Ali bin Muhammad] has told us [Waki'] from [Ibn Abu Laila] from [Muhammad bin Abdurrahman] from [Muhammad bin Syurahbil] from [Qais bin Sa'd] he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam met us, then we prepared water so that he could cool his body, he took a bath, then I gave him a yellow blanket, so that I could see the yellow marks on his neck (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3604.) 30th Hadith. God willing يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَنْبَأَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، God willing قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " كُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا وَتَصَدَّقُوا وَالْبَسُا إِسْرَافٌ أَوْ مَخِيلَةٌ " .. Has told us [Abu Bakr bin Abu Syaibah] has told us [Yazid bin Harun] has told us [Hammam] from [Qatadah] from ['Amru bin Syu'aib] from [his father] from [his grandfather] he said, "The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said: "Eat and drink, give alms and dress without excess or arrogance (Degree: authentic. Source: Sunan Ibnu Majah no. 3605.) 31st Hadith. God bless you God willing هَارُونَ، أَنْبَأَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي God willing رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ "" may Allah bless him and give him peace and blessings مَذَلَّةٍ " ..
