أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ وَاصِلٍ عَنْ امْرَأَةٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا عَائِذَةُ قَالَتْ رَأَيْتُ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ يُوصِي الرِّجَالَ وَالنِّسَاءَ وَيَقُولُ مَنْ أَدْرَكَ مِنْكُنَّ مِنْ امْرَأَةٍ أَوْ رَجُلٍ فَالسَّمْتَ الْأَوَّلَ فَإِنَّكُمْ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ السَّمْتُ الطَّرِيقُ

Abdullah bin Muhammad told us, Abdul Rahman bin Mahdi told us, on the authority of Sufyan, on the authority of Wasil, on the authority of a woman called Aidha, who said: I saw Ibn Masoud advises men and women and says, “Whoever among you is closer than a woman or a man, say the first simuat, then you are on the right path.” Abdullah said. أَخْبَرَنَا مَنْصُورُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ عَنْ شَرِيكٍ عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ لَقَدْ أَدْرَكْتُ أَقْوَامًا لَوْ لَمْ يُجَاوِزْ أَحَدُهُمْ ظُفْرًا لَمَا جَاوَزْتُهُ كَفَى إِزْرَاءً عَلَى قَوْمٍ أَنْ تُخَالَفَ أَفْعَالُهُمْ

Mansour bin Salamah Al-Khuza’i told us on the authority of Sharik, on the authority of Abu Hamza, on the authority of Ibrahim. He said, “I have met people, if only one of them had not crossed In victory for what I passed, it is enough of a disgrace to a people that their actions are different from them.

أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ { أَطِيعُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا الرَّسُولَ وَأُولِي الْأَمْرِ مِنْكُمْ } قَالَ أُولُو الْعِلْمِ وَالْفِقْهِ وَطَاعَةُ الرَّسُولِ اتِّبَاعُ الْكِتَابِ وَالسُّنَّةِ

Ali told us, Abdul-Malik told us about Ataa {Obey God and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you} The people of knowledge and jurisprudence said Obedience to the Messenger, following the Book and the Sunnah

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَدْهَمَ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ ابْنَ شُبْرُمَةَ عَنْ شَيْءٍ وَكَانَتْ عِنْدِي مَسْأَلَةٌ شَدِيدَةٌ فَقُلْتُ رَحِمَكَ اللَّهُ انْظُرْ فِيهَا قَالَ إِذَا وَضَحَ لِيَ الطَّرِيقُ وَوَجَدْتُ الْأَثَرَ لَمْ أَحْبَسْ

Muhammad bin Yusuf told us, Ibrahim bin Adham told us, he said: I asked Ibn Shubrumah about something, and I had a serious issue, so I said May God have mercy on you. Look into it. He said, “If the path is made clear to me and I find the trace, I will not be imprisoned.”

أَخْبَرَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ الْهَيْثَمِ حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ عَنْ رَجُلٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ جَابِرٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ هَجَرَ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَعَلَّمُوا الْعِلْمَ وَعَلِّمُوهُ النَّاسَ تَعَلَّمُوا الْفَرَائِضَ وَعَلِّمُوهُ النَّاسَ تَعَلَّمُوا الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلِّمُوهُ النَّاسَ فَإِنِّي امْرُؤٌ مَقْبُوضٌ وَالْعِلْمُ سَيُقْبَضُ وَتَظْهَرُ الْفِتَنُ حَتَّى يَخْتَلِفَ اثْنَانِ فِي فَرِيضَةٍ لَا يَجِدَانِ أَحَدًا يَفْصِلُ بَيْنَهُمَا

Othman bin Al-Haytham told us, Awf told us, on the authority of a man called Sulayman bin Jabir, from the people of Hijr. He said, Ibn Masoud said to me. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. They learned knowledge and taught it to the people. They learned the religious duties and taught it to the people. They learned the Qur’an and taught it to the people. Indeed, I am a man. And knowledge will be seized and temptations will appear until two people disagree over an obligation and they will not find anyone to separate them.

أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي خَلِيفَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ زِيَادَ بْنَ مِخْرَاقٍ ذَكَرَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ أَرْسَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ وَأَبَا مُوسَى إِلَى الْيَمَنِ قَالَ تَسَانَدَا وَتَطَاوَعَا وَبَشِّرَا وَلَا تُنَفِّرَا فَقَدِمَا الْيَمَنَ فَخَطَبَ النَّاسَ مُعَاذٌ فَحَضَّهُمْ عَلَى الْإِسْلَامِ وَأَمَرَهُمْ بِالتَّفَقُّهِ وَالْقُرْآنِ وَقَالَ إِذَا فَعَلْتُمْ ذَلِكَ فَاسْأَلُونِي أُخْبِرْكُمْ عَنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَمَكَثُوا مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَمْكُثُوا فَقَالُوا لِمُعَاذٍ قَدْ كُنْتَ أَمَرْتَنَا إِذَا نَحْنُ تَفَقَّهْنَا وَقَرَأْنَا أَنْ نَسْأَلَكَ فَتُخْبِرَنَا بِأَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ مُعَاذٌ إِذَا ذُكِرَ الرَّجُلُ بِخَيْرٍ فَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِذَا ذُكِرَ بِشَرٍّ فَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ النَّارِ

Yaqoub bin Ibrahim told us, Omar bin Abi Khalifa told us, he said: I heard Ziyad bin Mikhraq mentioning on the authority of Abdullah bin Omar, he said: Send The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, took Muadh bin Jabal and Abu Musa to Yemen. He said, “Join each other, volunteer, give good tidings, and do not separate.” So they arrived in Yemen. Then Muadh addressed the people and urged them to embrace Islam, and commanded them to understand understanding and the Qur’an, and said, “If you do that, ask me, and I will tell you about the people of Paradise from the people of Hell, so they stayed as long as God wished for them to stay, and they said to Muadh: “You have commanded us, if we understand us and read that we ask you.” So you inform us of the people of Paradise from the people of Hell. So Muadh said to them: If a man is mentioned as being good, then he is one of the people of Paradise, and if a man is mentioned as good, then he is among the people of Paradise, and if a man is mentioned as good, then he is among the people of Paradise. He is one of the people of Hell

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ هُوَ ابْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ الْهَادِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ يُرِدْ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ

Abdullah bin Salih told us, Al-Layth told me, on the authority of Yazid bin Abdullah bin Usama bin Al-Had, on the authority of Abdul Wahhab, on the authority of Ibn Shihab, on the authority of Humaid bin Abdul Rahman, on the authority of Muawiyah, said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying, “Whoever God desires good for is He gives him understanding of religion

أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ إِسْمَعِيلَ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ يُرِدْ اللَّهُ بِهِ خَيْرًا يُفَقِّهْهُ فِي الدِّينِ

Saeed bin Sulaiman told us, on the authority of Ismail bin Jaafar, on the authority of Abdullah bin Saeed bin Abi Hind, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said, he said The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, whomever God desires good for, He will give him understanding of religion.

أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَعِيلُ هُوَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ خُطْبَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنِّي وَاللَّهِ لَا أَدْرِي لَعَلِّي لَا أَلْقَاكُمْ بَعْدَ يَوْمِي هَذَا بِمَكَانِي هَذَا فَرَحِمَ اللَّهُ مَنْ سَمِعَ مَقَالَتِي الْيَوْمَ فَوَعَاهَا فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ وَلَا فِقْهَ لَهُ وَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ أَمْوَالَكُمْ وَدِمَاءَكُمْ حَرَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ كَحُرْمَةِ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ فِي هَذَا الشَّهْرِ فِي هَذَا الْبَلَدِ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ الْقُلُوبَ لَا تُغِلُّ عَلَى ثَلَاثٍ إِخْلَاصِ الْعَمَلِ لِلَّهِ وَمُنَاصَحَةِ أُولِي الْأَمْرِ وَعَلَى لُزُومِ جَمَاعَةِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فَإِنَّ دَعْوَتَهُمْ تُحِيطُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِمْ

Suleiman bin Dawood Al-Zahrani told us, Ismail told us, he is the son of Jafar, Amr bin Abi Amr told us, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Al-Huwayrith, on the authority of Muhammad bin Jubayr bin Mutim, on the authority of his father, that he witnessed the sermon of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, on the day of Arafah in Hajjah. Farewell, people. By God, I don’t know if I may not meet you after this day in my place. May God have mercy on whoever heard my article today. So he understood it, for perhaps he is carrying jurisprudence and he has no jurisprudence, and perhaps he is carrying jurisprudence to one who is more knowledgeable than him, and know that your money and your blood are forbidden. You are as sacred as this day, in this month, in this country, and know that hearts do not lose heart over three things: sincerity in deeds for God and sincere advice. Those in authority and adhering to the community of Muslims, for their call surrounds behind them

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ هُوَ ابْنُ إِسْحَقَ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ قَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْخَيْفِ مِنْ مِنًى فَقَالَ نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ عَبْدًا سَمِعَ مَقَالَتِي فَوَعَاهَا ثُمَّ أَدَّاهَا إِلَى مَنْ لَمْ يَسْمَعْهَا فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ لَا فِقْهَ لَهُ وَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ ثَلَاثٌ لَا يُغِلُّ عَلَيْهِنَّ قَلْبُ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِخْلَاصُ الْعَمَلِ لِلَّهِ وَطَاعَةُ ذَوِي الْأَمْرِ وَلُزُومُ الْجَمَاعَةِ فَإِنَّ دَعْوَتَهُمْ تَكُونُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِمْ

Ahmad ibn Khalid informed us, Muhammad ibn Ishaq informed us, on the authority of al-Zuhri, on the authority of Muhammad ibn Jubayr ibn Mut’im, on the authority of his father. He said: The Messenger God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was afraid of Mona and said, “May God bless a servant who heard my speech and understood it, then conveyed it to whoever did not hear it, for he may be pregnant.” There is a jurisprudence that he has no jurisprudence, and there may be one who carries jurisprudence to one who is more knowledgeable than him. There are three things that the heart of a believer cannot neglect: Sincerity in work for God and obedience. Those with authority and adherence to the group, for their call comes from behind them.

أَخْبَرَنَا عِصْمَةُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ حَدَّثَنَا حَرَمِيُّ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبَانَ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ خَرَجَ زَيْدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ مِنْ عِنْدِ مَرْوَانَ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ بِنِصْفِ النَّهَارِ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ مَا خَرَجَ هَذِهِ السَّاعَةَ مِنْ عِنْدِ مَرْوَانَ إِلَّا وَقَدْ سَأَلَهُ عَنْ شَيْءٍ فَأَتَيْتُهُ فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ سَأَلَنِي عَنْ حَدِيثٍ سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا حَدِيثًا فَحَفِظَهُ فَأَدَّاهُ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَحْفَظُ مِنْهُ فَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ لَيْسَ بِفَقِيهٍ وَرُبَّ حَامِلِ فِقْهٍ إِلَى مَنْ هُوَ أَفْقَهُ مِنْهُ لَا يَعْتَقِدُ قَلْبُ مُسْلِمٍ عَلَى ثَلَاثِ خِصَالٍ إِلَّا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ مَا هُنَّ قَالَ إِخْلَاصُ الْعَمَلِ لِلَّهِ وَالنَّصِيحَةُ لِوُلَاةِ الْأَمْرِ وَلُزُومُ الْجَمَاعَةِ فَإِنَّ دَعْوَتَهُمْ تُحِيطُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِمْ وَمَنْ كَانَتْ الْآخِرَةُ نِيَّتَهُ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ غِنَاهُ فِي قَلْبِهِ وَجَمَعَ لَهُ شَمْلَهُ وَأَتَتْهُ الدُّنْيَا وَهِيَ رَاغِمَةٌ وَمَنْ كَانَتْ الدُّنْيَا نِيَّتَهُ فَرَّقَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ شَمْلَهُ وَجَعَلَ فَقْرَهُ بَيْنَ عَيْنَيْهِ وَلَمْ يَأْتِهِ مِنْ الدُّنْيَا إِلَّا مَا قُدِّرَ لَهُ قَالَ وَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ صَلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى قَالَ هِيَ الظُّهْرُ

Isma bin Al-Fadl told us, Harami bin Amara told us, on the authority of Shu’bah, on the authority of Omar bin Sulayman, on the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Aban bin Uthman. On the authority of his father, he said: Zayd bin Thabit left from Marwan bin Al-Hakam at midday. He said, so I said, “He did not leave Marwan at this hour.” Except he asked him about something, so I came to him and asked him, and he said, “Yes.” He asked me about a hadith I heard from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He said, “May God bless him.” A person who heard a hadith from us, memorized it, and conveyed it to someone who was more memorized than him. Perhaps he carries jurisprudence but is not a jurist, and perhaps he carries jurisprudence to someone who is He is more knowledgeable than him. The heart of a Muslim does not believe in three qualities without entering Paradise. He said, “I said, ‘What are they?’ He said, ‘Sincerity in work for God and sincere advice to the rulers.’” The matter and adherence to the community, for their call surrounds behind them, and whoever has the intention of the afterlife, God will put wealth in his heart and gather him together for him. And the world came to him reluctantly. And whoever has the world as his intention, God will separate him and place his poverty before his eyes, and he will not get the world. Except what was decreed for him. He said, “And I asked him about the middle prayer. He said, ‘It is the noon prayer.’”

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ

Muhammad bin Isa told us, Hushaym told us, Abu Al-Zubayr told us, on the authority of Jabir, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Who lied to me? intentionally, let him take his seat in the Fire.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ

Muhammad bin Issa told us, Abu Awanah told us, on the authority of Abd al-Ala, on the authority of Sa`id bin Jubayr, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him. He said, “Whoever lies about me intentionally, let him take his seat in Hell.”

أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ صَالِحٍ حَدَّثَنِي اللَّيْثُ حَدَّثَنِي يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ حَدَّثَ عَنِّي كَذِبًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ

Abdullah bin Salih told us, Al-Layth told me, Yazid bin Abdullah told me, on the authority of Amr bin Abdullah bin Urwa, on the authority of Abdullah Ibn Urwah, on the authority of Abdullah Ibn Al-Zubayr, on the authority of Al-Zubayr, that he heard the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying, “Whoever narrates a lie on my authority, let him repent.” His seat is in the Hellfire

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي الصَّبَّاحُ بْنُ مُحَارِبٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَعْلَى بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ

Muhammad bin Humayd informed us: Al-Sabah bin Muharib told me, on the authority of Omar bin Abdullah bin Ya’la bin Murrah, on the authority of his father, on the authority of his grandfather, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Whoever lies about me intentionally, let him take his seat in Hell.

أَخْبَرَنَا أَسَدُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَتَّابٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ لَوْلَا أَنِّي أَخْشَى أَنْ أُخْطِئَ لَحَدَّثْتُكُمْ بِأَشْيَاءَ سَمِعْتُهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَوْ قَالَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَذَاكَ أَنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ

Asad bin Musa told us, Shu’bah told us on the authority of Attab, he said: I heard Anas bin Malik say, “If I had not feared making a mistake, I would have told you.” With things I heard from the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, or that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, and that is because I heard him, may God bless him and grant him peace. He, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever lies about me intentionally, let him take his seat in Hell.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ وَعَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ وَعَنْ التَّيْمِيِّ وَعَنْ عَتَّابٍ مَوْلَى ابْنِ هُرْمُزَ سَمِعُوا أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ

Muhammad bin Abdullah informed us, Abu Dawud informed us, on the authority of Shu’bah, on the authority of Abdul Aziz, on the authority of Hammad bin Abi Sulayman, on the authority of Al-Taymi. On the authority of Attab, the client of Ibn Hurmuz, they heard Anas ibn Malik on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he said, “Whoever lies about me intentionally, let him repent.” His seat is in the Hellfire

أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ هُوَ ابْنُ إِسْحَقَ عَنْ مَعْبَدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِيَّاكُمْ وَكَثْرَةَ الْحَدِيثِ عَنِّي فَمَنْ قَالَ عَلَيَّ فَلَا يَقُلْ إِلَّا حَقًّا أَوْ إِلَّا صِدْقًا وَمَنْ قَالَ عَلَيَّ مَا لَمْ أَقُلْ فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ

Ahmad ibn Khalid informed us: Muhammad, he is Ibn Ishaq, informed us, on the authority of Ma’abad ibn Ka’b, on the authority of Abu Qatada, who said: I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. He, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said on the pulpit: “O people, beware of talking too much about me. Whoever says about me should say nothing but the truth or anything but the truth.” He said about me what I did not say, so let him take his seat in Hell.

أَخْبَرَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ بِشْرٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ

Harun bin Muawiya informed us on the authority of Ibrahim bin Sulaiman, on the authority of Asim Al-Ahwal, on the authority of Muhammad bin Bishr, on the authority of Anas, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said May God bless him and grant him peace. Whoever lies about me intentionally, let him take his seat in Hell.

أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ عَوْنٍ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَقْبِضُ الْعِلْمَ انْتِزَاعًا يَنْتَزِعُهُ مِنْ النَّاسِ وَلَكِنْ قَبْضُ الْعِلْمِ قَبْضُ الْعُلَمَاءِ فَإِذَا لَمْ يُبْقِ عَالِمًا اتَّخَذَ النَّاسُ رُءُوسًا جُهَّالًا فَسُئِلُوا فَأَفْتَوْا بِغَيْرِ عِلْمٍ فَضَلُّوا وَأَضَلُّوا

Ja`far ibn Aoun informed us, Hisham informed us, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abdullah ibn Amr, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Indeed, God Knowledge is not taken away by someone who snatches it from the people, but knowledge is taken away by scholars. If no scholar is left, the people will take ignorant people as their heads. They were asked and they gave a fatwa without knowledge, so they went astray and were led astray.
